Home from the hospital last Friday, now waiting for my body to respond to treatment. While I may be more tired than I'd like, I want to restart some small strength training and use my elliptical at lunch even if 5-10 min a day this week. Goodness knows I ate enough Oreos yesterday to motivate me LOL.

Hubby and I attempted winterizing the camper yesterday. Water pump not working right so down the YouTube rabbit hole we went. That ended up being my exercise LOL. Going to grab my 5 lb weights right now to do some sets during the day 😊

9/24: 153.9Yesterday, I started the tried and true healthy eating style today to prevent cardiac disease, and HBP - DASH-Mediterranean. I think it will be a good way to reset going into October and incorporate more vegetables and fruits, nuts and good oils into my diet. Also weigh and measure portions.

Have stopped logging food everyday as it doesn't seem to make a difference whether I go over calories or not and it means i'm not over-focussing on food all the time. Will see how it goes and maybe I can face it again next month. Tomorrow I'm going 10 pin bowling - been 30 years since I last went so I hoping I don't make a fool of myself!

The choice of bowling balls wasn't very good - I have really small hands so had the choice of a 6 or 7 pounder. I would have preferred something slightly heavier but when I tried the small 8 it slipped out of my fingers. Well, that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it. Weights again this morning; it is sunny but a bit chilly here.

140. This is exactly where I wanted to be by the end of the month. Maintaining over a two week holiday is a first for me. I usually gain. Last holiday I gained 5 pounds and I’ve been trying to drop that for the past 5 months. I know 5 pounds isnt a lot but I don’t want to start cycling up.
