I’m so very happy for you @cupcakesandproteinshakes! Your diligence is paying off.

Really hope you’re feeling better @tishsmith101 - we also have a nice travel trailer and know what you mean about going down the YouTube rabbit hole to help when repairs are needed!

Any gain can be so frustrating @MercyRoth - especially when we’re putting in the effort! So many things can play into it. Sounds like you have a good plan for today!

I feel the shift in my dietary choices this week are starting to make a difference. My body is responding to more vegetables and less carbs. But……..last night I munched down on some old M n M’s I had in a drawer. I just threw away the box, so dumb! Back on track today.

Back from my trip ! It was pretty amazing. I have so much work to do to get all the photos organized and off my phone and my google drive because I am out of space.

And upon boarding my final flight home, I could start to feel myself getting sick so all weekend I have been laying low and resting due to a post travel flu/virus bug of some kind. I am just glad it held off until my trip was over.

    Sept
    9/1 DNW Lost Duncan
    9/2- 149.4
    9/3- 150.6 10K steps

    9/7- Horse Show DNW
    9/8- 152
    9/9- 150.6
9/10- DNW- upper body strength (shorter workout )
    9/11- 149.2
    ICELAND
    9/28- 151.6
    9/29- 150.6

I really didn't gain any during the trip and I ate bread and a fair share of pastries. However, It wasn't because I was trying . Instead I was dealing with some pretty signifigant gastrointestinal issues the entire trip. Not to give "TMI" but nothing stayed in my digestive tract for very long and it was a challenge managing this while on the road. I could not figure out what it was completely but I suspect it was either the water itself or the dairy they used. But that was not consistent either on the dairy because I would go a couple days with no dairy and still have issues. Usually I always have the other issue when traveling.

I am very ready to get back to a workout routine, as I feel like I have lost some ground . As soon as I am feeling better its back to hitting the gym.

Finally a new low after one week of following the Mediterranean diet which isn’t really a diet, but a way of eating for health purposes. Includes a bit of wine too!

Congrats to all who had success on their WL adventure this month! I’m pleased with a 1.5 loss after months of maintenance.
Let’s keep the momentum going in October!

I seem to have spent most of the month kicking the same kilogram up and down the scales which isn't really what I was aiming for but realistically to be expected since my goal is to get to a comfortable maintenance.

Welcome back @HappyDonkey75 - sorry to hear your time away was marred by digestive problems. Iceland has been on my list of places to visit for a long time - did you get a chance to see the northern lights?

I guess this month was a plateau or maintenance depending on how you look at it. I tried out a few things, no discernible results, but that’s ok, October’s gonna rock.

@SofaKween -actually we did but only on the night we flew in from the airplane which was pretty cool.. however that flight was awful with turbulence for half the flight so I was pretty anxious to get landed and get off that death tube with wings. It seems like the nights we remembered to stay up and watch , it was too cloudy. I see northern lights from home quite alot so it wasn't a big focus for me.

Whatever this cold/flu/virus I came home with is kicking my butt so I didn't eat much yesterday and what I did eat was not much in the way of protein.. it was carbs.. I just didn't have much of an appetite so breakfast was yogurt and cheerios, lunch was way too many dried mangoes , dinner was chicken both and noodles and an apple. Didn't win any awards on my food choices yesterday. It was also the first day back at work in 2 weeks so that was as much fun as I anticipated, starting out with being locked out of my system which took me half the day to sort out . Our IT dept is all offshore and they have made it impossible to get a live person on the phone. I finally did manage to get to someone after alot of messages and emails and the actual fix which was a known issues that happened on Friday and they did a back end fix for… took all of 5 minutes to fix on my system.. so annoying. What a wasted day.

Trying to work, while be not only jet lagged but also sick is not easy..

I have to finish training today that is due in 5 days.. I love how they always give us so much time to get required training done.. <insert eye roll>

I haven't been posting, but I've been peeking in on the thread here and there. Hoping to jump back into things in the next week.

I'm glad you're home, and I hope the treatment is helping, tishsmith101 .
Welcome back, HappyDonkey75 ! I hope you're feeling better soon.

I'll have the October thread up, shortly.
