Day 50β10/11βΒ 161 - Not a huge loss this half, but I will take any loss as a win.
Didn't have breakfast. Will have my homemade chili for lunchβ¦.looking forward to that. Spent yesterday afternoon in the kitchen fussing over it.
It's a gloomy weekend here with the Nor'easter. But at least it's not hot anymore.
Halfway Progress Report: β¦..Pounds Lost so Far: 1.6
Day 51β10/12β 161 - Had more chili and fresh raspberries for lunch but forgot to take my meds so my blood sugar is elevated for the moment. I stopped at the (no longer the) Dollar Store to look for glass plates for a craft project, but they only had ceramic. I did leave with 3 solar-powered light up pumpkins π though.
Day 52β10/13β 160.8 - Feeling blah today...the Nor'easter is still hanging around. Had chili for lunch again...thinking about egg salad for dinner.
I was posting back and forth with a guy in Motivation who can't seem to lose weight (he is obese) and every suggestion I have he shot down. Total negativity. I finally gave up....I think he just wanted people to feel sorry for him. He needs more help than anyone here can give him but he says it takes 3 months to get an appointment. If he'd done that 3 months ago, he wouldn't even have that excuse.

I hear you regarding the general post categories. I respond to the same question over and over again. So many people have no idea where to start. Some are very negative. There is only so much we can do to help someone who is not interested in helping themselves.

Hi Iβm Jenny, 60 years old and 5β6β - back again after another unhealthy βhiatus.β My sister and I have made a commitment to each other to stay accountable β 50 days is still plenty of time to make some real progress, and Iβm determined to get out of my own way!

Day 51β10/12: 217.8 β I was afraid thereβs be a bump up yesterday afternoon because DH and I went out to eat yesterday afternoon, but I kept it to 2 tequila/seltzers and an appetizer of blackened mahi bites β about 5 oz of fish strips. Yummy and I felt like it was a treat without going overboard, and the scale still is on a downward trend so yay! Did a pilates workout & stretch and ready to enjoy some football. J
Day 52β10/13: 217.2 β I canβt remember the last time I weighed in on a Monday and didnβt at least have a water weight bump up from loosening the reins over the weekend. I kept the βloosenngβ very moderate though and was conscious of my calorie intake so Iβm proud of that. Did a great cardio and stretch this morning and back to strictness today!
Day 53β10/14: 217.6 β I knew the streak had to end sooner or later! Iβve pushed a little harder in my workouts the past couple of days, so might be a bit of inflammation. Or maybe yesterday's was artificially low because of the sweaty workout. π

Standard day yesterday - exercised & walked the dog, kept within my IN target, did not meet my protein goal.

@jennysweet58 re "I knew the streak had to end sooner or later!" β> Daily fluctuations are 100% normal. It is the trend over time that really matters. That is why many of us include a 7, 10 or 20 day trend in our daily posts. No pun intended: Don't sweat the small stuff!
