Congratulations! I envy anyone who can use the drugs. Being a diabetic, I was prescribed a couple of those. I tried to ignore the side effects but after 9 weeks I waved the white flag of surrender. So I had to lose the old fashioned way. Continued success to you!

@knxjg6yvyr Oh wow! You look amazing 👏. Congratulations on your hard work...it has really payed off. As someone who is a strong believer in allowing the mind to catch up to its new body, you may want to consider taking a month to focus on maintenance. Continue your healthy lifestyle but don't put pressure on yourself to actually lose any weight. I hope that makes sense. Enjoy the journey, including the rest stops. Continue eating right...drinking water. Focus on taking a daily walk so it becomes ingrained behavior. Have you considered a fantabulous reward?? This is the time to plan a day spa massage! Even better, an overnight stay at a nice hotel with a spa! Go for a massage and get your nails done. Drink freshly squeezed juice. The boost will do wonders for your self esteem and mentally prepare you for round two. Self love ❤️ is SO important.

You're already a different person inside and out. Or you may consider a bouncy blowout and pro makeup for your next special occasion. Make sure your mind is also keeping up with your outer change....you'll be refreshed and excited to continue your journey 😊.

Yeah. One of my neighbors - before the current weight loss drugs were a common thing - asked me when/what surgery I'd had, and had a similar shocked reaction. (She'd had the surgery. I hadn't.)

No criticism intended of people who use the drugs or had the surgery - just saying people who did or would use some particular approach think others do so, too.

    Wow....

I do envy those who can use those drugs....I have a friend who does and is losing weight. But we can't all use them. Maybe one day, there will be an improved version with fewer side effects.

I know one person who uses them and eats exactly as they did before....I haven't seen any change in her weight....even after 2 knee replacements. I know another person who had bariatric surgery years ago....she lost weight, and gained it all back. She has other health problems now.

No artificial weight loss program is foolproof. Even if you lose, you have to change your lifestyle. And many seem unwilling to do so.

@Bassarrownerd I literally laughed out loud at your first post. 🤣 Huffed and puffed! @Chrochetiuvr Oh wow! It's sad to hear people going thru such extremes just to gain it all back. It's definitely a lifestyle change and requires a strong "why". They need to get themselves sorted before they attempt to get started. I've been enjoying the long journey....knowing I'm never going back. Rarely I even miss my too big clothes! 😕

@springerling62 I remember you posting your love for embroidered, hand woven pieces. Beautiful way to transport you back to your travels! 😍

Don't worry about falling out of maintenance...it actually takes a lot of work to do so. Especially if you've gradually changed habits. I reduced my waistline from 36 inches to 29 inches....and even now...I do a double take and have to remeasure sometimes. I've stayed at these measurements for several months even thru a couple pounds of weight gain. Move daily and you'll be fine 🙂. I'm encouraged to go thru my own closet again! Anything I find that is a size L or above a 10 I'm going to try on. My NSV....measurements are maintaining easily due to yoga, walking and changing my diet. 👍
