@quiltingjaine It is, but we’ve been known to take snack breaks, and she tends to have terrible things like pecan rolls around. 🤪🥲

    🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 315 (my 245th).

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
    • to have a totally 10-day binge free round.
    • Would like to lose a pound round.

I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.

    image-113e6a9498d168-7e9e.png

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 135. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

Updated 20.08.24 – I met up with youngest DB, first time after his DP passed away at the way too early age of 46. DB lives a long way from us, we see him very infrequently & is very introvert, so not a sharer of info 😞. However, he finally opened up to me, it seems that his DPs bad health leading to heart failure followed by kidney, liver failure & then a massive stroke, was originally caused by heavy drinking. By the time he realised he was abusing his body and went teetotal, the damage was too late to reverse. He was on the list for a heart transplant, but his other organs gave up before one became available. This has made me think about how I am abusing my body when I have binges with way too much sugar, fat & salt. I know I am a food addict. I'm going to try to think about this when I am tempted to overindulge, I need to start respecting my body more and think about whether I want to be in the best health I can be. My body has served me so well for 67 years, it deserves to be given the best chance to keep serving me well & I've been really lucky that life has not dealt me a raw health deal, so I must not jeopardize that luck.

I am the driver in my life & not the passenger, I need to drive my life to a healthy life."Health is wealth".

11/16 139.2 (trend 139.9) Very happy with myself this round, moved back into the 139’s (trend is there too today!), recognising that this 1.6 pound loss is due to consistency & no binge. Let’s see if I can lose another pound next round.

    EW Rnd 314 139.2

    SW Rnd 315 139.2

11/17 139.2 (trend 139.8) – invited by DD & family for Sunday lunch & day with them. Managed to get out early for a brisk 4 mile walk before we left for the hour and a half journey.

    11/18 139.6 (trend 139.8) – 8.5 miles walked.

    11/19 139.6 (trend 138.7) 7.41 miles walked.

thank you for the kind words! Since I posted this morning, I got the written report which said BIRADS 3 (probably benign) and "appearance is suggestive of a cyst or possibly a lymph node", which they hadn't said to me in the office, so I am a little less panicked now ❤️

@pezhed ~ oh good. I'm glad you got the report. Sometimes the medical field forgets how "powerful" their words are.

6 MONTHS?!?! I googled the info in the attached photo about waiting 6 months. I don’t know if you did that already, but that would be the first thing I would do. It does say that waiting 6 months is standard practice, which surprised me. But……….I would get a second opinion if you can afford it to put your mind at ease. That has to be nerve-wracking! I’m so sorry…but glad they caught it.

Just Give Me 10 Days – Round 315
    Nov 17 - 26, 2025

64 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).
SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
SW MFP Sept 14, 2020  – 153 (lost 40, then stress loss of 2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress gain)
    SW MFP Jan 1, 2023  – 146.6

    GW Maintaining between 124 – 126

    SW: 131.2

11/17 – 130.6 The 16th and 17th were crazy busy getting our condo as well as the building (long story) in order before we leave. Heading to MIL 200 miles north today.

11/18 – DNW Tried MIL’s scale. It weighed me at zero first time I stepped on. Second time was a big gain. Might be real, might be not. But I decided I’ll just see what my own scale says tomorrow morning. Today is flight day, then Uber to DD and pick up ourcar and kitties, and head home.

11/19 – 130.8 Yesterday, MIL’s scale was definitely off. Yay! Cats certainly having mixed emotions about our return (they stayed with our daughter for two weeks). I got less than 5 hours sleep last night with Han on top of me, and howling Harry living up to his nickname. I hope tonight is better.

    SW Rnd 315: 146.7

11/17: 146.3: I mostly stayed on track yesterday. Overall, it was a good weekend that didn't derail me. I got a lot of cleaning done and made some soup for throughout the week. I squeezed in a shorter than usual walk, but at least it was something.

11/18: 148.8. What?!? Very disappointed with this number, I have no explanation for it. My body fluctuates so much for no reason.

11/19: 147.7. I did lots of walking, ate well, not much snacking. I was hoping the scale would go back down a little more, but glad it's a better number than yesterday.

11/20: 149.6. I do not feel like this is deserved. I had some tortilla chips with my taco soup (homemade) for a bit of extra sodium and some dried pineapple. Other than that, I have no idea what happened, as I stayed within my target and didn't have anything that I "shouldn't". Oh well, hopefully tomorrow will be better.
