I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. She sounds like a special person to take care of others even after she is gone.

SW Rnd 315 - 128.8
RGW - 127.6
11/17 - 129.0 🏃🏻♀️ Starting this round higher than the last. However this is pretty good for me after a weekend. Today was probably a wash - ate close to or slightly above maintenance including eating my exercise calories. My lunch was accidentally huge and I still had snacks. Tomorrow’s a new day!
11/18 - 129.8 🏃🏻♀️📝🚫 This was a surprise gain, but perhaps still packing it on from the weekend. It is only Tuesday, after all, and we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Bills game on Sunday. Today my main goal is to drink a lot of water. Then at some point a dog walk and strength training.
11/19 - 129.0 🏃🏻♀️📝 Spiraling a bit today. Had a follow-up breast ultrasound after my first mammogram a couple weeks ago. The ultrasound identified a 5mm mass but it's too small to tell what it is. Now I'm to wait 6 months and go for a follow-up mammogram/ultrasound. The logical part of my brain knows this is probably because I don't have any baseline imaging established and that could have been there forever. The other part of my brain is freaking out and obsessing. What am I supposed to do for those 6 months?? My MIL suggested seeking a second opinion but I'm not sure how that works in this case (and insurance-wise). There is another hospital chain with imaging nearby but I don't have a relationship with any of their providers. Trying not to panic while also giving myself grace to panic a little bit.

If you think the second opinion will give you peace of mind, even if they tell you the same thing, I would look into it. Doesn't hurt to ask. Try to keep busy…Iknow easier said than done!

1/17: 159.0 This is my last super crazy busy week, hopefully for a good while! Constant mantra in my head, "you just have to make it through this week, you just have to make it through this week". I'm going take a few minutes this morning and write out a big list for the week and tape it on the wall and cross of things as I accomplish them, think it will help to see that list get smaller and smaller as the week progresses. Some of this is work related, which is what it is, but a lot is stuff I have put on myself - so I have to remind myself, you are this busy because these are things you enjoy & want to do BUT if doing them stresses you out what's the point? So, taking a little mindfulness moment to take a deep breath & enjoy the chaos.
11/18 DNW Need to move the scale out of our family bathroom, too many mornings when it's time for me to weigh, my husband is there getting ready for work and then I miss my morning weigh-in.
11/19: 159.6 No reason, hitting my macros & eating in a deficit - but this is my bodies standard reaction to a big drop (lost .7 on Monday), to bounce back up and then slowly ease back down. Recognizing a pattern is one of the good things about daily weighing - keeps the panic away with these fluctuations happen.

🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 315 (my 245th).
Goals for every round;
- First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
- to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
- be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
- to have a totally 10-day binge free round.
- Would like to lose a pound round.
I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.
Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 135. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.
Updated 20.08.24 – I met up with youngest DB, first time after his DP passed away at the way too early age of 46. DB lives a long way from us, we see him very infrequently & is very introvert, so not a sharer of info 😞. However, he finally opened up to me, it seems that his DPs bad health leading to heart failure followed by kidney, liver failure & then a massive stroke, was originally caused by heavy drinking. By the time he realised he was abusing his body and went teetotal, the damage was too late to reverse. He was on the list for a heart transplant, but his other organs gave up before one became available. This has made me think about how I am abusing my body when I have binges with way too much sugar, fat & salt. I know I am a food addict. I'm going to try to think about this when I am tempted to overindulge, I need to start respecting my body more and think about whether I want to be in the best health I can be. My body has served me so well for 67 years, it deserves to be given the best chance to keep serving me well & I've been really lucky that life has not dealt me a raw health deal, so I must not jeopardize that luck.
I am the driver in my life & not the passenger, I need to drive my life to a healthy life."Health is wealth".
11/16 139.2 (trend 139.9) Very happy with myself this round, moved back into the 139’s (trend is there too today!), recognising that this 1.6 pound loss is due to consistency & no binge. Let’s see if I can lose another pound next round.

@AR10at50 I know you are traveling and spending time with Dad today so I didn't want to ask for the recipe. So I looked up Enchilada Casserole and found some good beef ones on allrecipes.com . I also found a delicious and easy looking one on The Pioneer Woman. I am going to try them both at some point. Sounds like a great dish to pass also. Thanks for the idea!
@itladyee Oh, not scratching that number on my chart quite yet! I need that magical #7 in from of the decimal point for a few weeks and of course, we are heading into the Thanksgiving holidays. But thanks for the support! Soon….I hope.

ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND: 180.2
11/17-178.8 ✅ (Trend Weight – 182.1)
11/18- 179.4 ❌ (Trend Weight: 181.8) A bounce back up a bit today but I’m not sweating it. Still thrilled with recent results. I did finally scratch that itch for pizza yesterday but stayed within my calorie goal and hit all my macros. Probably not the best choice, but I’m over that craving so it can’t lead me into a “feeling denied binge”. Today I’m back on track with healthier foods planned. My goal is plenty of water and some extra movement. Lots of sleep last night which caused a bit of a late weigh-in, but I’m feeling rested and prepared!
🦃🦃🦃🦃 11/19- 178.4 ✅ (Trend Weight: 181.5) I have never been so happy to be “overweight” ! According to the BMI charts I am out of the “obese” category and into the “overweight” category now. This is a big step for me as it’s all about health. This diabetic/thyroid belly is starting to deflate a bit and I envision my fatty liver getting better and my visceral fat shrinking with less strangulation on my organs. I added a little something to my exercise yesterday and I finally drank more water. Both helped. My sleep has been pretty good the past couple of days too. I did go for much lower calories yesterday after the pizzeria outing the day before tilted the scale back up a bit in order to make up for it. I treated it like a bill that needed paying. I’m out of debt on that and back to my normal macros today. It really helped that I did not have any out-of-town appointments or excursions this past week. That won’t be the case leading into Thanksgiving.

11/17- 172.111/18- 171.411/19 - 171.5 - Well… I didn't drink enough water? I ate well under my goals - no afternoon snack due to back to back calls and I simply wasn't hungry to eat all the remaining calories/macros to meet goals. I'm assuming it's bloating and/or water weight from less water. I still hit over 70oz so I'm not horrendously dehydrated at least. Will do better today in hopes it helps. Gym despite everything screaming at me to sleep instead. Two more wakeups this week. I can do hard things.

@deepwoodslady thank you! I'll keep an eye out for your message. Happy for your "overweight" status! Your consistency is paying off for your health!

11/17: 171.7 📉I’m loving how this round ends the day before Thanksgiving. 🤣That could either be a good or a bad thing. 🤷♀️Got exercise in yesterday. I also made another new recipe—Salmon Cakes. I decided we need more Omega-3. In addition, we have lots of leftovers since I realized I misread the recipe and doubled it in the end. 😂
11/18: 172.1 📈No surprise. I had to get up extra early today. Such a busy day. Morning meeting, tap class in the afternoon, dinner out and theater tonight. Whew!
11/19: 171.3 📉Big surprise! I had a lot of calories left over when we went to dinner and out to the theater. My husband and I split the Creme Brulee. OMG! I was in heaven. I went to tap class in the afternoon. I am assuming that tap dancing is what is making this possible??? The calories burned is huge! 😳 I questioned that when I started, but I am usually very sweaty afterwards. Plus, it doesn’t feel like it. I’m having so much fun and want to keep going.

Congratulations on being “overweight!” I feel exactly the same way. You must be taller than me, because I think I am still in the “obese” category. 🤷♀️ I hope I am overweight soon, 😂

6 MONTHS?!?! I googled the info in the attached photo about waiting 6 months. I don’t know if you did that already, but that would be the first thing I would do. It does say that waiting 6 months is standard practice, which surprised me. But……….I would get a second opinion if you can afford it to put your mind at ease. That has to be nerve-wracking! I’m so sorry…but glad they caught it.

I’m so sorry about your friend with ALS. I had a MIL with that and it was so heart-breaking. Hugs 💕

Just Give Me 10 Days – Round 315
Nov 17 - 26, 202564 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).
SW: 131.2
11/17 – 130.6 The 16th and 17th were crazy busy getting our condo as well as the building (long story) in order before we leave. Heading to MIL 200 miles north today.
11/18 – DNW Tried MIL’s scale. It weighed me at zero first time I stepped on. Second time was a big gain. Might be real, might be not. But I decided I’ll just see what my own scale says tomorrow morning. Today is flight day, then Uber to DD and pick up ourcar and kitties, and head home.
11/19 – 130.8 Yesterday, MIL’s scale was definitely off. Yay! Cats certainly having mixed emotions about our return (they stayed with our daughter for two weeks). I got less than 5 hours sleep last night with Han on top of me, and howling Harry living up to his nickname. I hope tonight is better.

SW Rnd 315: 146.7
11/17: 146.3: I mostly stayed on track yesterday. Overall, it was a good weekend that didn't derail me. I got a lot of cleaning done and made some soup for throughout the week. I squeezed in a shorter than usual walk, but at least it was something.
11/18: 148.8. What?!? Very disappointed with this number, I have no explanation for it. My body fluctuates so much for no reason.
11/19: 147.7. I did lots of walking, ate well, not much snacking. I was hoping the scale would go back down a little more, but glad it's a better number than yesterday.
11/20: 149.6. I do not feel like this is deserved. I had some tortilla chips with my taco soup (homemade) for a bit of extra sodium and some dried pineapple. Other than that, I have no idea what happened, as I stayed within my target and didn't have anything that I "shouldn't". Oh well, hopefully tomorrow will be better.
