    Proof that guys are more complicated than girls. Seems like it's split down the middle - half of you like direct contact by a confident woman, and the other half prefer the shy, submissive non-approach. All YOU have to do is offer to buy us a drink or hold the door. :wink:

    Buying a woman a drink is the last thing I would do to flirt. Far too many women go to the bars/clubs with the intention to drink for free all night with no desire to meet someone.

    A smile and can ususally hold a conversation. I am shy but I like when guys smiles and talks to me first...it makes it so much easier for me to talk (or flirt) back :)

    I like a confident guy. I also buy my own drinks at a bar...generally if a guy buys me one, I'll return the favor, especially if I'm not interested. That way he can't accuse me of flirting for free drinks. So annoying.

    I completely agree with this. I would sometimes flirt with guys before I got married, but when I first met my husband I knew he was my destiny and was very agressive when it came to flirting. I had no scruples and made him blush. Happily married for 5 years now! I still make him blush.
