Porridge oats/muesli/all bran - one of the three. I will eat breakfast at any time of day if I need a filling snack/small quick meal
Cucumber and tomatoes - the basis of most of my chopped salads
Tinned tomatoes, chickpeas, onion, rice, spices - if I have empty cupboards or lack imagination then all this goes in a big pot for dinner
    Coffee

My top gotta-have-it food is now Fage 2% Greek yogurt. So versatile for breakfast, snacks, or desert.

I also have eggs a lot more often. And La Tortilla Factory whole wheat tortillas are a life-saver for a quick and easy lunch. I've also kept oats in various forms around and include them fairly often.

    Chicken (skinless)
    Fish
    Strawberries and blueberries
Dark chocolate (to satisfy the occasional sweet tooth)

    Chicken breast (boneless skinless)

plain Greek yogurt!!!!!!! I eat it every day without failure. I'm getting to the point where I'm worried if there's any negative side effect to continued massive Greek yogurt consumption.

Protein sources: Whey protein isolate mix, chicken, ham steak (lean), tuna, fish, eggs, egg whites, milk (low fat or skim), low fat or fat free yogurt, low fat cheese (fat free is awful stuff!), fresh fruit and vegetables. Whole wheat bread (from bakery, no preservatives). Barilla Plus Pasta. Utz extra dark pretzels. In about that order of importance too.

Cheese. I cannot live without cheese. My favorites right now are goat cheese, awesome in a spinach salad with nuts and strawberries, and Coeur de Lion mini bries.
Low fat greek yogurt - my grocery store just started carrying the individual size ones. I love the peach and passionfruit flavor. Or vanilla with fresh berries and nuts.
Nut and nut butters - pretty much any type, but has to be all natural. I also love the dark chocolate peanut butter.
    Avocados.
    Chicken
    Spices
    Salad greens
    Bell peppers
Apples. I love most fruit by apples are my favorite snack (good paired with cheese too).
    San Marzano tomatoes
Fresh pasta (I make my own, as a treat)
    Red wine.

(not in that order but close. Wine and pasta are higher, but I eat them more sparingly)
