Once a week. Same time (pretty much) every Friday morning first thing after a wee and with nothing on!0
-
I weigh myself every morning..probably should just do once a week.
I think I am obsessed witht he scale0 -
Every morning, but only log when there is a loss. That gives me the drive to keep it there or less.0

i weigh in every week its hard not to sneak a peek half way through but its great when you see the amount you have lost at the end of the week0

Me too! Except I'm trying to not weigh every day anymore.. but it's not working too well for me though lol0 -
What works for one person may not for you. With that said,, I weigh in once a week. Every friday morning the first thing I do is weight myself, naked. Same time, every week. It works for me.0

EVERY FRIDAY0

Only recording when there's a loss - That's a good idea :-)
Thank you, all :-)0 -
I Only weigh in every Monday. My wright fluctuates to often, so I only do every Monday. If you look at your MFP summary, it shows you your weekly stats. So if one day you go over and the next day you are under it evens out for a weekly loss.0

I weigh every morning first thing. I know it's not healthy but I am with one of the other posters. I am obsessed with the scale!!0
-
I also weigh in everyday which I know is bad. I only record a loss in MFP however if it shows that number or lower for 3 consecutive days.0

Once a week, every Monday, keeps me in check over the weekend b/c I know that I will be weighing on Monday!!0

I weigh in every day... I know they say you shouldn't but I'm afraid I'll let myself get away with too much junk food if I don't have that daily reminder to behave myself!! Lol0
-
Daily, but that only works if you don't get discouraged by small gains because some days you just weigh a little more or less. Usually if I gain a little one day, the next day I lose a lot, so it evens out (:0

I am weighing in once a week after my class on Thursday evening.0

twice a month. I was obsessed and weighing in daily as well, but it does get discouraging when you hit a plateau and don't see changes for almost 3 months. That's when I had enough and put the scale away. Now on the 1st and 15th for the most part are my weigh in days.0

I weight everyday...record on Friday's...I don't let the scale get me discouraged as I know my weight will fluctuate day to day but it does help me stay focused...I push a little harder when I am up a couple and I know that I need to stay focused and the scale will show it sooner or later...The other thing is that I do is try on clothes...I see how tight or loose they are becoming...Just don't get infatuated with the scale...everyone does it a little differently and some people don't even weight but monthly...Me weighing everyday helps me stay focused and remember why I am doing what I am doing...just my 2 cents0

I'm the same "weigh"...hehe ( I had too). Throw away your scale and weigh in at a store where you pay a quater! I used to do that. Now my friend had a scale so I just visit her in the AM on Monday's lol0 -
once a week at the most
to be honest, when you start a new diet and toning regiment, i would weight yourself for 30days to avoid the fluctuations you get from water loss, building muscle, etc. A yo-yo scale can scare anyone off.0 -
Every morning to keep me in check but only record it every monday on MFP0

It really surprises me that so many weigh in daily. I weigh in once a week at most. I chose Saturday morning after my bathroom routine and before breakfast.
Since out body weight can fluctuate up to 5+ pounds daily I don't like the idea of weighing in every day. If I miss a Saturday weigh-in then I usually just wait til the next week. I also have started taking body measurements every other week (waist, chest, neck, thighs etc).
Good luck everyone!0 -

I weigh on Monday for the same exact reason! It helps me to make sure I don't over-do through the weekend. I do have a peek once or twice during the week, but only track Monday...good or bad!0 -

I do this too, but I record my weight on Sundays. I'm maintaining and this helps to keep me from gaining back. So far in 3 months I haven't gone even an ounce over my goal weight. I've stayed at a range of right at to 2 pounds under and I think it's because I've kept such close tabs on my weight. When I was still losing weight, the scale would sometimes show a slight gain but I wouldn't get discouraged, I would just remind myself to watch my sodium and/or carbs, on which I sometimes tend to go over. I think if you can keep from getting discouraged then weighing everyday is good. Unfortunately, not everyone can do that. I know the scale plays mind trips on some people and if they show a gain they tend to want to give up. You have to find what works for you.0 -
Sometimes I will go two weeks without weighing myself. My weight fluctuates so much, I stopped weighing myself everyday to avoid getting discouraged. I tend to use how I feel and how my clothes fit as a guide.0
-
Once a week or every 8-9 days even. I find I get discouraged if I step on the scale every day. The small up or down discourages/frustrates me so I try and hold off and only weigh every now and then so I'm hopefully getting the bigger picture number... it's sometimes to hold off stepping on tho when I've had a few good days!0
-
I weigh in every morning, but it's really because my body is so sensitive to my cycle and sodium. Weighing in every day gives me the chance to see a loss somewhere and gives me the motivation to keep going. I usually only register a loss on the scale a few short days of the month, so I need to see it when I can! I don't get discouraged over the fluctuations, and it has helped me to understand them more so I don't panic when I gain 2-3lbs overnight, or when I go 2.5 weeks without any sort of loss despite being a good girl. I record whenever I have a loss and that's my new low as long as I am doing everything right.
Different things will work for different people! Good luck!0 -
I'm awful - I weigh in at random times when I walk by the bathroom. Usually multiple times a day.
I only record on Sunday mornings, though.
Edit: Typo Queen0 -
I weight first thing in the morning EVERY morning. I have conflicting views. In europe they suggest you weigh every morning so you know how the foods you are eating are effecting you. (without a nasty surprise a week later if you weigh once a week). but in america they say not to weigh every day. so I guess whatever you are comfortable with.0
-
I weigh when I feel like it. Sometimes twice a week, sometimes once every two weeks. I'm mostly focusing on how my body looks and how I feel.0
