I was a little frustrated about plateuing this week, then I went back and looked a little closer at the various numbers. My food intake was pretty good, couple of "not as good days" here and there (we went to our wedding cake tasting this last week! yum!), but every day I at least stuck to my maintenance calories at most (most days were more like 1400-1500, maintenance will be around 1900-2000).
HOWEVER, I realized I only exercised hard 1 day last week and I kind of slacked on the water. I really think that is the difference.
My exercise goals:
1) walk ~2miles in 30 minutes every workday (path around a lake at work), PLUS walk my dog 20-30 minutes each evening.
2) do the 30-day shred DVD 4 days a week
3) on the weekends take longer hikes in the woods with my dog (~1-2h) OR if the weather is bad do the elliptical in the gym at our apartment complex.
My eating goals:
Keep doing what I am doing, I have been doing really awesome so far on that front. I do have some sweets here and there but NOTHING like I used to (maybe 1 miniature piece of candy after lunch instead of 7-8....). I have also pretty much cut out all soda0 -

Looks like you got a good set-up on your goals. Don't forget for eating goals drink 8 or more cups of water a day! Great job on cutting out the soda (almost). :drinker:0 -
I'm game too...I lost about 20 lbs last summer/fall, and put it all back on over the winter. I was planning on 24 lbs within the next 60 days as my alone goal - but I'll try this. I am at 204 - want to get to 175 - so technically I am shooting for 29 lbs - but I 'll try the 90 days as well!

I would LOVE to join! 30 lbs would be AWESOME to lose by the middle of July. Will our final weigh in be July 13th? I'm so excited to do this with everyone. GL...ohh and as soon as the baby wakes up I will go in my bathroom and weigh myself. (even though I don't want to b/c of my horrioble eating weekend)

I'm in too! This sounds like a great group! Losing 30 lbs will put me really close to my goal. My plan for the past 2 weeks has been to eat "clean" and exercise 6 days a week. While I'm pretty on top of the exercise, I could do better in the eating department, it's so easy to give in to unhealthy food sometimes!
Starting weight: 160 lbs (this morning)
Goal weight: 125 lbs

Okay this challenge is already helping me. It's going to be a struggle for me to lose 30 pounds in 90 days, as I typically don't lose more than 2 pounds a week, but I am serious about trying for it. Today at work there were baby blueberry muffins and I wanted one so bad, and I almost gave in. Instead I remembered this challenge and decided to pass.

Great job everyone! I think logging everything I eat is really going to help me - it's amazing how much a bite of this and that adds up throughout the day. I just realized that I leave for vacation on Day 90, and it would be wonderful to be able to wear a swimsuit on the beach without a giant coverup to go over it! Have a great night! :flowerforyou:

Yahoo!! Welcome to Day 2!! Hope everyone met all their goals yesterday. Something to think about today - what are small things you can do to stay more active during the day? I try to make sure I get up and walk around the building at work every hour. It's a small amount of exercise and gives my eyes a break from staring at the computer all day. What are some of the things you do or can do to sneak in a little exercise?0

Can I join too? This is excactly what I'm wanting--getting to the goal by July. I'll be headed home then and my sister just lost a bunch of weight and I don't want to be the "fat sister" kwim?

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to check-in and see how everyone is doing on their third day? So far I've been doing well. My eating has been good and I've been exercising faithfully and hard. I'm thinking about taking a cardio kickboxing class on Saturday morning's but haven't decided yet. I know that will be a butt kicker! :laugh:
