Along the same lines: http://nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/07/21/meet-staci-your-new-powerlifting-super-hero
There are pictures where Staci goes goes from 117lbs to 131lbs to 142lbs but stays pretty much the same size, while looking a lot stronger and more fit.0 -

wow! Awesome job! I struggled with the number on the scale for awhile since I started weight training. I've now given up on the scale because I went up a few pounds. Great example of how the number on the scale isn't the only thing that matters! Thanks for posting!!
Okay, I just realized this isn't you but either way, thanks for posting!0 -
yep Staceys example is one I show people often.
I also like this info article. Its about Crossfit - but has some skinny fat vs fit photos, though not of the same girl. And explains what it is, how to address it etc,
Good general read.

And Leigh Peeles Body Fat percentage images, are eye opening as well. No skinny fat, but gives you perspective on how different body fat can look - no matter what the scale weight. (which is not the best thing to judge your loss by, just one tool)

Thanks for posting! Its enforcement for me not focus on the scale so much.0

Huh just realized that I'm kinda skinny fat (though I'm still regular fat too I think).
Thanks for this, guess I better get working on toning up as well as slimming down!0 -

This is exactly what I am Skinny fat... I dropped down to 108 (I am 5' 3") this summer and now I am 112 lbs since I have done 1 round of 30DS and now almost finshed Ripped in 30. Some weight gain has to do with poor diet too!
I realize now I need to concentrate not on the scale but on lean muscle tone.
Thanks for this post!!0 -
awesome results! Just another thread that proves weight is meanless.0

me at 68kg (150lbs) (couldn't find a no shirt photo)
me at 77kg (170lbs)
Lift heavy, do cardio for fitness/fun, hit the macros.
LOL, just realised I have injuries in both of these photos haha.0 -
@chrisdavey Awesome results and thanks for sharing. However, I often find that pictures of men gaining muscle weight is unconvincing to women because of the "bulky" stigma. I don't feel like guys live and die by the number on the scale in the same way that many women do.0

Great work lady and gent.
It's definitely not all about the number on the scale.0 -
