I am bummed out. I've been doing everything right. I even walked 3.3 miles on Saturday for March of Dimes. I think some of mine is water retention.
BH34 no crying aloud! Your doing great so don't get discouraged. It could be that your gaining muscle and losing fat.... I'm here for you if you want to send me your daily menu and exercise routine and I can try and see what's going on. I'm not a professional or anything but it could be something your not seeing.

I had a hard week. I felt so tired that I did not work out my goal of 1000 cals burned through exercise each day. Ate too much of the wrong foods over the weekend. So hopefully the weight is mostly water. Pushing fluids today and going to work out hard later on. Wanted to get daycare kids out for morning walk but am waiting for the Cable person to come and do some work.(anytime between 8 and 12) My guess is 1 pm right at the start of nap time so I won't get to work out during nap time.

I had a really bad weekend, hope I am just retaining water but I went up 2lbs! Saturday went over to a friend's and had around 2100 calories for the day, and same with sunday. Normally on the weekends I get a lot of exercise in but I was just so TIRED that I slept a lot (plus it was hot). I don't think it was mathematically possible to gain 2 pounds based on that and based on how good I was the rest of the week, I am back to drinking more water and we will see next week though.
Since it is getting hot here going to have to change up my exercise routine a bit. Normally I go power walking at lunch but I will have to do that in the mornings and/or do some exercise DVDs when I get home.

It could be that your body needed a rest from working out. It's ok, it happens all we have to do is learn from it and make better choices. Drink lots of water, eat your fruits and veggies and lean meats this week. Do cardio a little longer this week if you can and I bet next week you'll lose.

WOW 1000 calories burned a day every day, that seems like a pretty intensive goal Good luck!
Keep up the good work! I am pretty sure most of the weight gain will be from water retention, .unless you somehow managed to eat an average of 2000 calories a day OVER your maintenance calories this past week.....:laugh:0 -
I bumped up to 1000 calories burned a day for 5 days week during the 90 days of this challenge! I do home daycare and I have a 6 child stroller. I can burn 500 calories walking to the park pushing the stroller and then we have to come back. It is hard to do the 1000 on rainy days when we can't get out but I am trying.
Woke up this morning with a runny nose that would explaing the tiredness last week I was coming down with a cold.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day. This is supposed to be the nicest day of the week here so I plan to take advantage of it and get outside as much as possible. (Lots of outside playtime helps the kiddies sleep well at nap time, and then I can jump on the eliptical and get in some exercise.)

I just wanted to say thanks for the great support! But, I also wanted to reach out to everyone who maybe didnt loose the pounds that they wanted this week. Dont get discouraged! Keep on trying and maybe try harder this week and you will see the pounds start coming off.
This is definately a challenge and we have to stay focused!
This weekend I maintained my calories and worked out, but I on Sunday I wasnt feeling a change. I was getting discouraged, but this morning I had my first "Oh wow" moment. I was able to wear a blouse I wasnt able to button up for about 2 years. This was my confirmation that it was working and I was getting there.
So please dont get discouraged keep on doing what your doing and you will soon see those results. This is my 3rd week and I have already lost 7lbs. Now, since I started to participate in this thread I have lost 4lbs.0 -

So I didn't weigh myself--well, I did, but I'm not posting--TOM. Sigh...
However, the last couple of days my appetite has been so small--maybe that will help! hahaha.
I'm way too tired to ever work out--I need to just push myself, but by the time I get home, get my daughter to bed ,cook dinner, clean up, I'm beat...hmmm...gotta push myself to wake up early again--it's the only way...0 -
