I don't have any pics yet, sorry, but I've lost around 43lbs so far (from 178 to 135). My goal is currently 125 but I might lower it to 120 (or even 115!) when I get there - it depends on how I look. I have never been 125 before so don't know how it will suit me. I chose it as a goal because it's well into the healthy BMI range without seeming unrealistic, and looking at photos of other women of 5'3" at 125 it seemed to be a nice weight.

I am 5'4 as well, probably about 183 ish... (haven't weighed myself really recently) And am hoping to get down to about 135 by June. (Getting married in July)
This string of posts is very inspirational to look at, and I was also hoping that there was anyone who could give me some advice and more motivation.

    Anything would help..

Went through my computer today and found some older pictures (from 2008ish). I cannot believe I'm posting a pic of my midriff. The way I'm standing makes it look a little better than it really is. If I can make it actually look like this any time (without creative posing), I'd be pretty happy. Took it as a "before" picture for Jillian's Ripped in 30, I'm in week 2 now.

I'm 5'4". I've been 125, and still wasn't completely happy. So I'm planning to get to 115 (the lower end of the healthy BMI range for my height) and then put on more muscle... probably ending up somewhere around 117-120.

I don't have any before/after pics yet. I just hit my goal weight yesterday, after 99 days on MFP, with just watching my portions and occasionally exercising!

I'm 5'5" (okay okay, like 5' 4 and 3/4"...) and 135lbs. I fit comfortably into my size 4 jeans again that I haven't worn since my senior year of high school! I'm pretty curvy (thankfully I did not lose my boobs in this process... I was a bit concerned about that).

I plan to maintain and work on toning/strength training now. I would like to look slightly different, but I don't think I need to lose any weight to do that. :)

    YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!! :D
  • i'm 5'4. started at 165 and i'm now around 125. i'm a uk size 10 and i'm pretty happy where i am (just need to work out how to maintain without losing more!). I'm afraid i havn't got any photos of me from before, i tend to delete them ... will try to find a decent current photo to post up soon though if thats helpful?

bsloop45: I lost the weight quite quickly (started in January this year) and, to be honest, it was all down to motivation and being strict with myself. I went to the gym a few days a week and always tried to stay within my calorie goals. I also tried calorie cycling which is where you eat more on some days to boost your motabolism. I'm not sure what the science is behind it but it seemed to work pretty well :)

Also 5'4" (and a half?). I think its really amazing how different body builds are.

I'm on the curvy side so I started mid of 160's at about a size 14, I'm currently 140 and a size 10/12 depending on brand. I've never been this size so my arbitrary goal number is 130. I may stop a little before or a little after - we'll see! :)

Thank you SO MUCH ladies for posting. It's so great to see how different we can all be, but working together to the same goals.

I'm 5'4" with a large frame and pretty curvy. SW 257Lb a loose 22 and 40J. After 6 months CW 215Lb a tight 18 (kinda guessing about this as I have not actually BOUGHT any 18s I just keep pinning the the old pants tighter) and 38F. Maybe a year from now GW 125-130. I chose this weight because it is in the healthy BMI for a large framed person of my hight. In real life I think I want to wear a size 10 pants. That would be amazing because my lowest weight in memory was 145 Lb in middle school and I wore a 12. It also amounts to a loss of half my body weight. It's a happy thought!

Hi! I'm 5'3" and I lost about 20lbs and am down to my goal weight at 115. I'd never thought I would make it. My Profile picture is the before and after. Good luck! Just remember you can always readjust your goal weight. I usually did every three pounds so my caloric intake wasnt too drastically changed.

im 5'2" my lowest weight ever was 104 but i hated it. i could see my ribs and my hips completely. my parents thought i had an eating disorder. so i gained 5 pounds and i love my body at 110. i look very skinny but no bones are sticking out! so keep that in mind! what the bmi indicator says is health and what looks healthy are two different things.

  • I'm 5'4", pictures available on my profile. (I think).

The fit blonde one's my inspiration.

Goal weight is 121, current weight is 130 lbs. (Original starting weight, a while before I joined here was 148 lbs)

And I actually have quite the ample bosom myself, but I'm hoping it'll shrink so I don't have to go to speciality stores to get a pair that fits. (30DD, anyone?)

I lift weights. I go to the gym five times a week and lift heavy things and myself. It's fun to be able to lift as strong as a guy (women will not get bulky unless they specifically work at it through strict as **** diet and tactical dehydration for two to three weeks). I have, from lifting alone, lost 15 lbs. And that includes indulging in chocolate milk post workout (for protein and carbs, actually good for the body)

I'm 5'4", large chested (38F), little too much in the tummy area due to having both of my children be 8 lbs 8 oz at birth and being very large in my pregnancies. I've lost about 29 lbs since the end of July. Let's see if my pics show. I'm halfway to my goal!!!

I'm 5'3" and my before and after is my profile pic. I'm where I want to be now. I was 125-130 and now I'm hovering at 100lbs. Yes I know I have to gain at least another lb or two...but I'm happy where I am.

I am 5'3" and started at 150. I am now at 134 and aiming for 125. I think 125 is the ideal weight for my body type.
