so I woke up late as normal because I stayed up till 2am. I don't know why I get my second wind at 1am :grumble: but I get a lot done so I guess I can't complain too much. Im going to jog 2 miles but I would like to try for 2 1/2 miles with some sprints in there. Burn baby burn. :drinker:

I have been feeling like crap around lunch time the last few days. I figured I wasn't sleeping enough so I took it easy on the studying yesterday and went to bed an hour early. Well, I still feel like poo today! It's crazy because I wake up feeling fine but just crash and want to curl up into the fetal position for the rest of the day! I made myself workout yesterday thinking maybe I would get some energy from that like I normally do and all I did was get really dizzy! So, I'm going to do some further investigating on nutrition and such to see what's going on. Until then, I'm thinking I should take it easy on the working out and try to get more sleep! (HAH!)

In other news, I drank all my water yesterday. And I had pizza today thanks to my mom. It was yummy but made me feel even crappier, which I guess is good because I won't have a taste for it again for awhile! Good luck to the rest of you Blues! :flowerforyou:

Hmm I'm thinking scrambled broccoli and eggs for dinner tonight, with some turkey bacon. Mmmmm.

Well I was going to have Turkey breast from the crock pot but i forgot to turn it on and it was frozen so its fine BUT won't be ready in time for supper - OOPPS! Guess what we're having for supper tomorrow night....yep - turkey

Jess-you are a machine - 2 miles jogging with sprints already - didn't you just start the couch to 5k a couple weeks ago? I completed wk 1 day 2 of couch to 5k today....it says to rest in between but I've been running/walking for a couple months so I'm feeling good - I am sure it will get harder but I figure I can work thru wk 1 and 2 this week then might have to slow down.....we'll see...my 5k isn't til Oct so I have plenty of time.

That's all for me for now!

ngwife-sleep is as important as eating right and exercise. Be sure you're getting enough protein-if I don't, I feel really gloomy....also maybe some fresh pineapple or an orange in the morning - the vitamin C could help give you a boost.

    robynd-Welcome to the Blues!!:flowerforyou:

I just looked up the weather to see when our next nice day is, since it's been raining for pretty much a week straight. Looks like Sunday will be sunny and around 70 out, so I'm going to try and get my bf to go down to the river and walk with me. There's a nice trail that follows right alongside it for miles. I'll also need to pick up a card and some pretty flowers for my mom...I don't know what he wants to do for his yet. :flowerforyou:

On second thought...I think I might get her one of those edible arrangements! Yum!

On third thought  ....maybe I'll make the edible arrangement myself!!!

Glad to be on Big Blue!!

    Woot, woot :glasses:

I have a small goal, but it feels big because I feel impatient about getting there, but I know it takes time and dedication to eating right and exercising...yeah...I saw that after I ate a bag of cheddar cheese popcorn  BUT I didn't exceed my calories today, so far.

I want to get in shape, which I'm making progress and tone up. For exercise I'm doing Turbo Jam, which is really fun and the only videos I've ever stuck with, and I just got ChaLEAN Extreme for some muscle! I needed a program and structure.

I'm wishing you all the very best on your journeys too!

WINNIPEG SOLVES SWINE FLU VIRUS! I work at the Hospital a few blocks from that lab. Yay! I'm proud of my city! Feel a cold coming on. After a HEAVY day with the TOM-I'm down 4 lbs from fluid. So tired, but just goes to show the effects us poor women have each month.

I vote for a 1 week weigh in grace-saying it's the same or something as the prior week, cause it's sooo inaccurate and depressing. Keep track yourself, but for me it throws off my focus and motivation, and:mad: me off. What do you think Team? (1 week only, can't forever be on TOM) in numbers:laugh:

    Way to go Rach-your awesome!

If skipping your weigh in on those weeks keeps you a bit more positive and committed, that's fine! We're all here to become better and healthier! Just check in with me and tell me you've stayed the same. I know when I hit it and know I'm going to be up, I'd rather not step on the scale and confirm it. Though it's been a couple months since my last TOM, so I'm curious as to why I'm having a 'dry spell'....and no I'm not preggo, already checked.

    Good Morning Blues!

I got 6 glasses of water yesterday, today I WILL get all 8 but I'm sure it's better than before. Thanks to everyone for such a supportive group. I had to log on this morning to recharge my motivation. One of my students brought me homemade lumpia (eggrolls) just now, still warm with her happy little face. I was able to limit myself and only eat 1 small one, but the rest are still on my desk, tempting me. Tried to get her to share with everyone, but she "made them just for me..." :ohwell: Love these kids ......anyway thanks everyone for helping me stay strong.

Awww how cute! What do you teach? What age group?
I taught 3rd for a long lime, now I'm an "English Learner Support Teacher (50%) and Academic Intervention Specialist (50%) for Kindergarten-6th; I usually just say "teacher". I have a great job.
Awesome job on your accounting test!!! YAY you:drinker:

I just finished 23 miles on the bike on top of the 10.3 I did with my wife this morning. I finished a personal goal...cycle 150 miles in 30 days. Feels pretty good. Now it is time for some dinner. Hope y'all have a great night.

did good on food today. exercise was awesome. did my usual 60 min at gym on treadmill, but I did 60 in the pool also. Drank my 15 glasses of water. I LOVE water. Not a problem getting mine in. Going out of town for the weekend but will do okay. Already checked out the gyms there so will get my work outs in. See you tomorrow.
