YIKES!!!! I haven't posted since just after Thanksgiving, and it's already Christmas time!! Time sure has gotten away from me!!

and that number will be lower next week too (just this morning was 249.2)! YAY!! It helped that I had the flu, followed by a tooth infection, then a tooth pulled, and stitches in my mouth for a week. Although I haven't exercised much, I've had to watch everything that I've eaten!! Hoping to hit a few more pounds before New Years!! Regardless, I haven't been at 250lbs in at least 5 years!! I wanted to cry!0 -
Would anyone be interested in joining a Group if I create one and having another challenge for the New Year? I joined a group a group that is having a Challenge from January 2nd to June 22nd (approx 25 Weeks), but there are a lot of restrictions that they want you to to follow in addition to having a goal weight you're trying to attain.
So I was thinking of starting a Group, similiar to this discussion that we had for our New Year New Us Challenge, where we again have a weight goal that we are trying to reach (such as lose 25lbs in 25 weeks or something like that), but also, with the group, I think we will be able to have more discussions during the challenge such as: What workouts are you currently doing? What's working for you? What are you struggling with? Things like that. We can decide what kind of time frame we would like to have....Do we want to make the challenge 25 weeks long? Do we want to shorten it to 20? Do we want to reach a certain goal by the end of a certain month or holiday? And again, I will keep track of weigh-ins on a spreadsheet so we can keep track of our progress.
Let me know if any of you would be interested in that, and if so, I'll get to work on creating the group so we can hopefully start soon....possibly even starting it the same day we finish this challenge to keep the momentum going Hope you're all havign a great day!!0 -

In the lead-up to Christmas, I have become very tired, and its been a challenge to continue to eat healthy foods, so its great to see how much we have accomplished over the last few months.

Ok, I've created the new group for our new challenge It's called the "2012 Summer Slimdown Challenge". I will be starting it Jan 1st to keep the momentum going

I know I've been slacking off with reporting my weight loss...silly holiday's getting in the way. I still weigh about the same as of Tuesday Morning. 155.9. At least I haven't gained much!

Merry Christmas. I hope you are having an enjoyable and relaxing time - whether it is spending time with family and friends, or just taking time to go for a walk, read a book, or take a long bubble bath.
One year, I took my dogs to the beach early on Christmas Day, and it was so peaceful, so I hope you are having a relaxing day.

1st Jan 2012 - 180.8 (82.0 kg) - no change this week. So overall, I have lost about 21 lbs (or just under 10 kg) during the Challenge.
Thanks to the coordinators of the challenge, and congratulations to everyone who has lost weight by doing this Challenge. I'd also like to congratulate anyone who struggled to lose weight, but diligently kept to their health/fitness program. It is very hard to persevere when there is no "apparent" improvement, so well done.0 -

Final weight- 183. So all in all I lost 17 pounds during this challenge. Didn't make the goal of 25, but got darn close and that's okay. Great job everyone!!0

I started the challenge at 209.4 and finished at 183.5 for a total weight loss of 25.9 lbs!!! I did it!!! Even with all the holidays! I don't know if the chart will be updated to show this but I hope so! Im sorry I was late, I thought it had been abandoned.0 -
I lost the challenge when they did a board change. I lost a total of 10 lbs.
