Soy crispettes at whole foods! They're really yummy, very low calorie (you can eat over 20 for 120 calories I think), and they have a lot of protein too! I also like quaker mini rice cakes to snack on, or occasionally some crackers with a 35-calorie wedge of laughing cow cheese. My other go-to snack is a handful of baby carrots; you can eat about 14 for just 35 calories, and they're just so crunchy and delicious.

When I'm craving something sweet, I usually have dark chocolate or some Greek yogurt topped with fruit and granola, or just a plain piece of fruit.

1/4 cup of roasted and salted soynuts with 1/2 cup of green grapes. Yum! About 182 calories, so just a little bit over. It sounds like a strange combo but if you like salty and sweet it is really good!

Serving of tortillas chips, and tortillas salsa dip. Mmm
  • I'm looking for awesome snacks that won't break the calorie bank! Whether it's healthy or kind of processed, empty calories doesn't matter for this list! To me, a good snack is either decadent, large portioned, crunchy, makes you think "wow, this is only xxx calories?!!?" or any of the above!!

Here is a link to WebMD that was e-mailed to me a short time ago. I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me! http://www.webmd.com/diet/ss/slideshow-100-calorie-snacks?ecd=wnl_wmh_062011

    Celery
    Carrots
    Bell Peppers
    Radishes
    Snap Peas
    Snow Peas
    Asparagus
    Grape or Cherry Tomatoes
    Fresh Mushrooms
    Spinach
    ....

and contrary to popular belief, all of these can be eaten raw, without dip, and are delicious and very, very low in calories, packed with vitamins and high in fiber.

On that note, I'm heading to fridge for another big bowlful for the whopping price tag of about 50 calories.

Meijer (Midwestern chain) has these 100 calorie packs that I like, they are like little flat cookies - they call them Chipsters. If you don't live in the midwest, I know Snackwells has some 100 calorie packs as well, and so does Nabisco.
