I dream about creamy Jiff peanut butter on soft white Wonder bread, slathered in Welch's grape jelly. Mmmmm!

I'm such a brand name snob.

    I couldn't resist.....

    Jelly is firm
Jam is not... sometimes it has chunks of fruit in it sometimes it doesn't.

I love HOMEMADE grape jelly and HOMEMADE strawberry or peach jam, I make my own and it's yummy!

The best peanut butter ever made is Maranantha Organic Creamy!! to die for!!

Then, if you take two slices of my homemade bread (fresh ground whole wheat, with 6 grain, flax and coconut oil) and smear once slice with organic PB and the other with fresh strawberry jam... it'll knock your socks off!!!! MMMMMMM good stuff

Can you send me your recipe for your homemade bread?

    Thanks in advance!!!!

I am getting into the organic living and want to make bread myself also.

I'll post it in the recipe thread later tonight K

Ok so the Skippy Natural Peanut Butter is the best tasting peanut butter on any shelf in any supermarket...add apricot jelly to the mix and you have one of the best PB&J sandwiches in the world!!! yuuuuuuummmmmmyyyyyyy!!!!!!
  • Take two pieces of bread. Put jelly on one side, peanut butter on the other.

    The end.

Ew... you keep the pieces separate? I squish mine together.

And PB&J sounds good right now.

I have to say, I'm the same with just regular butter and jelly.
And my silly father always puts the butter knife (all smothered in butter) right into the jelly jar. :grumble:
Surprise! Ewiness on my PB and J.

Jif Natural isn't so "natural" (that word doesn't really mean anything in terms of food...).

Try a peanut butter with these ingredients: "peanuts, salt"
I think you'll be impressed.
