Boredom eater. I more often forget to eat when I'm stressed, but if I start... I won't stop! Lol! I've pretty much broken the habits, but it has been hard, and I'm only 6 weeks in. I know I can keep up the good habits, but it really takes stocking healthy snacks, and appropriate quantities of those at work.0

I am definitely belong in the boredom category. When I'm stressed I don't eat at all. Two extremes! I need to keep busy in the evenings. Sitting in front of the tv or my laptop is not a good thing0

Boredom eating. When I'm stressed I tend to take it out on things that are dirty. (Stress cleaner!) If I'm bored it's really easy for me to just sit and eat while watching TV or online. I started watching TV only when my husband is around because he never has had any issues with stress or boredom eating and keeps me from doing either pretty well!0

A boredom eater! If I stay busy I'm fine, but if I don't have anything to do or am just watching TV, I like to eat. PLUS I have a desk job, which is absolutely horrible for wanting to snack all day long!0

Definitely stress eating. When I'm stressed all I want is fried food and beer.0

Boredom eating definately. When I am stressed I dont eat because I am usuall sick to my stomach, but when I am bored....look out.... :grumble:0

Mindless eating is my biggest. I don't eat when I'm bored, I don't eat when I'm stressed. I eat when someone sticks food in front of me, and I absent-mindedly grab a handful of chips, candy, whatever. Especially at parties, when there's a ton of food out on tables, and I can gobble up an absurd amount of food without even realizing it.0

I was going to say boredom, because that's always been a problem for me, but the more I think about it...I'd have to say stress eating. When I get really upset, I feel like saying screw it and eating whatever I want.0

boredom!!! I work out when I'm stressed. I can't possibly eat because my stomach is usually tight.
Boredom sucks!0 -
Stress, unequivocably. If I'm bored, I pick up my knitting/crocheting and then don't want to get my fingers dirty. I usually snack on fingery type foods. But, when I'm stressed, I'm like the energizer bunny - can't focus on anything and just want to shove everything into my mouth.0

Boredom eating. I'm never hungry when I'm stressed or upset about something.0

I used to eat when I was upset or stressed and now if I'm upset or stressed I clean. Guess that comes with getting older. I do eat when I am bored though.0

I do both. Mostly boredom eating though. The difference for me is that I can eat healthy when I'm boredom eating. When stess eating, unfortunately, broccoli and grilled chicken don't make it better as well as nachos, chocolate and vodka.
Couldn't have put it better myself.0 -
OMG!! I'm such a stress eater! I'm trying different things to not eat when I'm stressed, such as writing down the emotions I'm feeling at the time, walking, or simply drinking water instead of eating. Hopefully, I'll eventually move on from my stress eating!0

boredom eating, unfortunately... when im stressed im tend to eat less, maybe because my stomach is shrinking due to stress. but when im at home and have nothing to do - ice cream, chocolate bar, everything whats in the fridge just looks so yummy to me - especially when no one is watching.:(0

Boredom for sure. But occasionally stress. When it's stress it is more about feeling like I deserve food because everything else is so terrible. But I can also feel this way when things go well to. It's that food as a reward thing! Not cool either way!0

Stress eating. I don't often boredom eat, but stress makes me hungry.0

Stress eating is the harder one for me. I can keep myself busy enough when I am bored. Not as good when I am stressed.0
-
I am for sure a bored eater. Especially at night when the kids are in bed and I am in front of the tv.0
-
Definitely bored eating. Hands down.0
