I am in the Stage 2 and its been about a month, so I am right one track. But I am having a hard time getting my self to be motivated to keep going!!!0

It can sometimes be very disouraging, but you just have to keep going. I am just finishing up the first week of a new diet.0

I have read this post several times since I started MFP. I searched it out today because I recoginized that I was in the "digging in" stage. I've had some good success, a rough spring break that took me out of my comfortable routine and the shine is starting to dim. This reminds me that I am normal (as close as it gets anyway) and that I need to lace up the running shoes and hit the treadmill. Thanks for the inspiration banks!0

That all being said, your road will be a little different from the normal crowd in that if you are within 20 lbs of your goal, you're body's probably already fighting you a bit, and won't make it easy. If you haven't lost any weight, maybe you could take a second look at your goals, mix up your routine, examine your nutrition, and maybe talk with a Personal Trainer about a more focused path. These are all suggestions, you may have done one or more of them, I don't know, but it's a tough road, I've been there, and it takes months and months to lose that last 20, even if you follow the plan strictly.

Thank you! I see these threads of people trying to lose 30 pounds in 90 days and it just makes me ill. The last 20 pounds takes exponentially more time and effort than the first 20 pounds, and it's just not possible to keep losing weight at the same rate without giving up huge portions of your life so that you can workout three times a day....their expectations are way out of whack, and it's just going to lead to feelings of inadequacy and disappointment....
