Unfortunately doing 200 crunches a day will not give you a flat stomach... moving is always better than not moving, but if your goal is to get a flat core, this is not the way to go about it I'm afraid.I will! Hate these things but a flat abdomen is what Im working for...better get to liking them I guess!

Whoa, people! Please do not do 200 crunches a day unless you want to put great shearing forces on your lumbar spine!!!! Crunches = bad!
Sorry.
I'm assuming you are all wishing for flatter, tighter, more toned tummies? This is what you do:
1) Eat a clean diet - ABS ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN
2) If you want to do exercises to work your abs - work your entire core - planks are one great core exercise - pull-ups also work your core.
In general, lift heavy weights and work your WHOLE body as muscle helps burn fat. I got a six pack without a single sit-up. And you can too!
Sorry if I just rained on your parade! :flowerforyou: Good luck to you all.

If you want to get flatter abs, you're better off climbing 200 stairs a day, than 200 crunches.

Yay I'm in too ! I do 250 abs crunches everyday but they are not only situps. I'll try the test tomorrow (it's 3:30am in Paris, time to sleep !).0

I want to join too because my classes start again Monday and I feel that I will get discouraged and distracted, This will help me stay on track.

Btw, I know they don't help with abs if you still have flab, but they at least get my heart rate up and they will keep me wanting to stay on track.0 -
I'm in & have posed it to my friends on facebook as well.
I hit 20 in my initial test. Could have stopped around 17, but pushed to get those final 3!!!! Looking forward to adding this to my dailies!! 0
