I'm a writer. Full time and freelance. Sitting at one desk or another for approximately ten hours a day, on average. For eight of those, I barely move, but I walk to the office and I walk home before I sit down and start again.
I know eight hours sitting down is bad for me, but I don't have time to take breaks and go for walks, and even have to eat at my desk so I'm not even walking to a staff room. I do my best to compensate wherever I can, and when I've finished work for the day at about 8pm I head out on the bike for a quick ride around.0 -

Busy stay at home mom of 4, one being off in college now. I'm very active with two youth non profit programs working with kids/youth. So sometimes I'm at home with my 5 year...that can't afford to loose any weight and at other times I am running all

My weight problem started when I had our first child and I just couldn't loose the baby weight...then along came children 2, 3, and 4. Now I have a lot of baby weight to lose!0 -

I am trained as an Architect, but am currently unemployed due to the fact that no one is building anything around here! That said, I am reconsidering what I want to do with the rest of my life because I want a job where I can be on my feet more often and talking to humans. My desk and AutoCAD made me want to cry all day. Haha, not really, but I need to do more than sit at a desk, it is not for me!
My gf is a Landscape Architect...unemployed for 3 years. She does freelance but she's also reconsideriing what to do with the rest of her life....the economy sucks.0 -
