The fact she calls them vanity pounds because you're body thinks it's already healthy and cites societal pressures to be thinner than necessary tells me that the extreme measures you have to take to drop them can't be very good for you. Even she admits she yo-yo's on them. Like a couple of others, I also wonder if it's something you'd be able to maintain once you tricked your body into cooperating.

Thanks. I'm on my last eight pounds. I copied these down, in case I get stuck.

1.Cut your sodium to 1,000 mg a day.
2.Drink at least 80 ounces of water daily.
    3.Cut out processed foods.
    4.Abstain from alcohol.
5.Train at 85 percent of your MHR (maximum heart rate) for 1 hour 5 times a week.
You can do a lot in 30 days — in fact, I can pretty much guarantee you will lose at least 5 pounds. And you'll feel like a rock star!

let's see, #1, doable, #2, yes, #3, would require much work, #4, don't drink anyway, #5, okay I have a high heart rate anyway when exercising, so I guess when I get there, I'm golden, lol
