    My husband brews craft beers so for me, it's a huge weakness! I am trying however to keep it at only weekends!

    usually Guinness if i have beer... prefer red wine.
    Guinness! It's the best thing ever. And about half the calories of beer, which is hard to fathom since it's so delicious. It's the ice cream of beers. :)

    guiness draft about 170 calories a glass....higher than the average american beer
    A pint of Guinness: 196 calories
    A pint of Bell's Hopslam: 373 calories.

    I don't drink Budweiser. Life is too short to drink ****ty beer.

    Agreed.

    If I'm going to drink BEER, I'm going to make it worthwhile.

    Dogfish Head 4 Lyfe, LOL.

    Beer = little carbohydrate sponges that retain water.

    Guinness = Irish breakfast.

    I am very aware that it isn't helping me to be more healthy...however, that is one relaxing Friday evening activity where I am willing to sacrifice a bit of weight loss with a bit of quality of life:)

    When I drink on a diet I try to stick to red wine. It has some health benefits, the calories stack, and it doesn't make me want to eat the house when I have a couple of glasses. I dunno why, but beer makes me want to eat the most unhealthy things.

    Yup, I do. Beer and bourbon and wine and scotch and...
    Moderation is the key, keep your carbs/protein/fat ratio in check and you are good to go.
