    CLEARLY fell off with this.
    I did lose 4 lbs durning Daniel Fast, but I'm sure I gained it back. BOOO
    I need somebody to come kick me in the butt!

    Hi everyone! This is a great idea!
    For me, it's a new year and I am back on track. I am 53 yrs and a mom of two.

    My overall goals this year are to:
    1. Become more active
    2. Increase my fitness level
    3. Lose 40 lbs.

    Today's goals are:
    1. Record my food intake
    2. Drink my water
    3. Keep within my daily calorie limit.

    My goals for Tuesday

    journal honestly done, I lost my appetite, must be really sick
    drink water and green tea done
    take my cold meds. done

    so hoping this is a 12/24 hour bug.

    the cold has until the end of day tomorrow to be gone...otherwise I will be going to the dr's.

    Hey everyone my name is Megan, feel free to add me :). I like the idea of daily goals, if I write them down I can't 'forget' them.

    -Go for a 40 min bike ride as soon as my parents get home (otherwise I'll be locked out of the house).
    -Complete my strength exersises today.
    -Stay within my new calorie limit

    Tuesday, January 24
    1. Water 10-12- done
    2. Calorie goal +/- 100- done
    3. Grocery shopping-Yeah DONE!

    I hate grocery shopping! It is too expensive! The only good thing is that pushing the cart, loading, reaching, stretching, bagging, unloading, etc, etc, etc burned an extra 300 calories!!!!!!!That was a good thing. Husband went with, so was fun.

    Birthday weeks have begun. Lots of cake and dinners out. Fit in exercise where I can. So Really need these goals this week.

    Wednesday January 25
    1. Water 10-12
    2. Exercise- Burn an extra 500 calories today
    3. Stay in calorie goal +/- 100 ( which means I had better get #2 done since it is Outback for dinner tonight!)

    Have a wonderful day and make your own SUNSHINE! Will be cloudy and rainy here, so will need to make my own too!

    I'm been asked to go to Office Depot to do their online assessment so I am going to Olympia today and plan on lots of walking after doing the assessment. I sure hope the results lead to an interview and a JOB!

    Goals for January 25:
    1. HEALTHY CHOICES!!! and stay in my calorie range.
    2. LOTS of walking while out today.
    3. Drink water!

    For today Jan 24th:
    1. drink 2 of my water bottles - done
    2. 2 servings of vegetables - 3 servings - yeah!
    3. come up with some recipes to use leftover chicken and cauliflower and cook one of them tonight - done. And my son ate cauliflower - extra bonus!!!

    Jan 25
    1. drink 2 of my water bottles

    3. make this phone call tonight that I should have made 2 weeks ago

    The cold still has a grip on me....going to bed early after taking my evening cold meds.

  • Love this thread, my name is laura and am determined after my negative gals yesterday that this cold will not get me down so getting dressed and off for first goal of the day.Good luck all on your personal daily challenges.

    1. burn 300 at least in gym this am or go to spinning class
    2. drink 2500mls of water(not sure what this is in glasses?)
    3. make a healthy choice when out with friend for lunch

    I am so pleased at my effort yesterday! It was a lot of work paying attention to the HRM all day and fitting in 1 minute exercises all day, but I did it with even extra to spare! What a wonderful time! Even preplanned what I was eating. Guess what lunch is today?! :wink:

    So glad I found this. It's all about daily goals. If you meet your daily goals you will meet your weekly goals, you will meet your monthly goals and so on.

    My name is Trish and I live in Middle Tennessee. I began this journey in earnest in July 2011 as I was preparing for Weight Loss Surgery. I had lap band done in Aug 2011 and since I come off all my diabetes meds (normal A1C now) and almost all my bp meds. No longer have GERD and asthma is much better controlled with less meds. The lap band was the best thing I have ever done. I started the journey at 380# and am currently at 318. Every day is work. The band makes it easier but does not do it for me. I still have to make the right choices, I still have to exercise and do the work.

    My goals for today, Thursday 1/26/12:
    1) 30 minutes on the bike
    2) 15 minutes of strength training
    3) 10 glasses of water minimum
    4) Remember to breathe. Don't take everything so serious
    5) Be the best me I can be for today

    Good luck to all. This is a journey we can make by ourselves but its much more pleasant to have someone walking with you.

    Well, the assessment is finished and now I wait (the store manager wasn't in yesterday) I walked around the outside of the mall before doing a bit of shopping. JC Penney is having a GREAT sale and I bought 2 new tops and a new pair of pants that are suitable for almost any kind of work--store, office, etc. I saved $101.00 the receipt said (Though I would NEVER pay the regular prices!) I still need new jeans but I will wait for my tax refund before getting those.

    I want to welcome our new members. This is the ONLY thread that keeps me coming back as I have been getting very discouraged with my lack of motivation and progress.

    Ok, I've been pretty productive the last couple of days.

    Thursday:

    1. Taylor my guy's chef school uniform. (may take more than one day)
    2. put bug catcher together to get it out of my sewing area. (see above)
    3. make some tea to enjoy during the day.
    4. burn at least 300 exercise calories.

    I know that's 4, but the tea thing hardly seems to count.

    How did I not post yesterday??

    Goals for Tuesday & Wednesday were:
    1.deal with my house. (Or just make peace that it's a mess.)
    2. decide to take my dog on a splendid 3 mile walk, buy her food & her treats & the pet store.
    3. get my condolense card in the mail. I accomplished all of these goals but never cleaned my house.

    Goals for Today are:
    1. take my dog for a walk
    2. clean house as my purse was stolen & I don't even have money to shop!! (Don't need anything)
    3. take a lazy day since I worked buy butt off yesterday.

    1. went to gym burnt 250 AND went to spinning class!
    2.nearly there drank six cups so far
    3. had a healthier choice.

    get my mail
    attend girls movie night at my church and only eat fresh veggie snacks...no junk food
    write my food shopping list for Saturday.

  • This daily goal setting really worked for me yesterday great for body and mind: so today my goals are....
    1. go to gym am and try to burn at least 500 cals.
    2. do 30 mins wii dance and 30 mins wii boxing this evening.
    3. try to not eat all my exercise cals as i am going out on sun and will prob not be recording everything.

    I am super looking forward to my girls afternoon with friend on sun but after lunch yesterday i'm gonna make good choices i will keep a record of what i eat and drink but might not get it all recorded on here.

    I am SO mad at myself--I totally screwed up on my food yesterday AND have started today badly. Luckily, there's still time to salvage today so--here I go!

    Not a productive day yesterday....:frown: Started today with road checks, no salting, but interrupted sleep. Eyes were checked. Contacts on order ( I really hate wearing glasses!) Dilated, so everything is blurry.

    Friday January 27

    2. Extra 250 calories
    3. Working on paperwork- need to finish it!

    Hi all, Marcia here. My goal is to drink 8 glasses of water today, and to do 30 additional minutes of exercises tonight. I have a step at home, so I pledge to watch a show will going up and down the step. This should help with the munches. I would be interested in othr tips that you may have to keep you from raiding the fridge. Thanks.

    2. Bake a new type of 80~ calorie cookie
    3. Rearrange the kitchen to make it easier to cook

    goals achieved today did the gym this am and the wii for an hour tonight and haven't had any of my exercise calories....and i'm even keeping at yesterdays water goal ..hope everyone achieved their goals and had a great day. I will def be on here tommorrow.
