    We were sitting in the back of my dad's truck waiting for his dad to pick him up, staring at the stars together. I commented on how nice it was and pretty it was outside. He said that I was pretty, but I quickly evaded the compliment by saying that I'm not pretty. He leaned in, saying "You're perfect" and... His hair fell between us.
    He freaked out, pulled back cussing at his hair and tried to lean in again to kiss me, but all I could say is that the moment was ruined.
    But I got a quick peck before he left.
