Lose 5 Pounds A Month February 2012 Challenge

Lost 1.6 pounds since yesterday. I know I should only weigh myself once a week and use that as a standard but I'm kind of excited to have lost anything. :laugh: :laugh:0

I started at 175 this morning.0 -
Ok, the official results were in yesterday: I lost 5 pounds in January, and I am ready to do so again in February.
Feb 1: 148
Note to self: I know that you are really comfortable at this weight (150 plus or minus 5). Everytime you get to this weight, you somehow manage to either gain or maintain. What I want to tell you, self, is that It's ok to weigh less than 145, really it is. Just because the scale gets close to 145 does not mean you have to eat everything in sight. Got it? 143 is a perfectly normal number, and on Feb 29, you will realize that. In the meantime, just trust me. And we'll worry about March in March, ok?0 -

This is the most amazing note to self ever! I completely relate to this when it comes to me getting down to that same number!!

WOW!! I Have lost 2 pounds in 2 days lol don't know why that happened especially since I haven't had any exercise or water and Iv had plenty of cookies and soda hmm lets see how the weekend turns out : )0 -

I'm in. I was at 335.4 on 2/1 and that was a loss of 28 lbs from where I started. Lets see where I end up for February.
Do we want to raise the stakes a bit and see who can loose the most in February?

I would love to lose 5 and much more. I lost 35 pounds in a two months . But thats because I had foot surgery. The pain pills
surpress my eating. Now I want to try with out meds.0 -

Hey guys! I'm starting February at 137 lbs. I only managed to lose 1 lb in January, but at least it's a loss! I'm a little bit discouraged because I realize I'm at the exact same weight this February as I was last February. But let's see what I can do!

I know it sounds crazy but keep in mind I am very over weight so I am losing faster right now. BUT
It is 2/4 I have lost 5.6 pounds since my last weigh in on January 23rd. for a total of 11 pounds since January 10th0 -
Heading out to dinner tonight - very mindful that my check-in here will be Wednesday morning. Finding it very helpful in making my choices to be accountable on MFP. Hope everyone is having a successful weekend!0
