    I loved her. Wanted to be like her when I was little. I hate how these amazing singers die when they're at rock bottom rather than going out on top. Freakin'' tragic.

    I just took it back to my 5th grade talent show (20+ years ago) and busted out HOW WILL I KNOW. Then, my husband started in on I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, so we had a nice duet and made our 3 year old laugh at us! RIP Whitney and thanks for all the great music.

    All the money and fame... none of that saved her. So sad, just like all the people I know who battle addictions in the regular world- such a hard fight. To all of us still here- let's be kind to ourselves ok?

    So sad. :( What a gorgeous voice & talent wasted. I really do feel for her daughter... my mom died a just a couple of years ago from drug overdose complications, and she was in her early 50's so I can relate... such a hard thing to deal with.

    So very sad, This is proof of how devastating addiction can be. My heart goes out to her family and anyone out there struggling with addiction.

    i just looked on abcnews..and that is false..whitney is dead.
    every news station and news website says she has died.
