Guys is it really a turn on?

it maximizes your good features and minimizes the not so pretty ones. so i feel confident and sexy when i wear it. why not
Ditto ^^^0 -
My boyfriend really likes it. When I do it though, I do it right. I take a shower, fix my hair and do makeup, put on some really cute little number and heels. I get him new lingerie for me to wear all the time. He particularly likes things with buttons, hooks, ties...... anything that makes him have to work for the prize. I dont do it everytime like that, just a time or two a month, wanna keep it special.
Proving an important lesson. All men are in fact different. I loathe hooks and buttons. I've torn wife beaters in half because I couldn't deal with waiting for them to be off.0 -
For me and my bf, lingerie is more for me than him. I like having matching underwear, and it makes me feel better / sexier when I wear something nice.
He's of the opinion though that he would rather they come off and see what's underneath. :laugh:0 -
My guy says he likes it, cause it shows him I'm thinking of him and trying to do something nice for him.0

the nightys and baby dolls are more for me than my husband... being a stay at home mom I dont often dress up or wear things that make me feel sexy. So when I do go shopping for that something special to wear, it makes me special and sexy... Ok so it is for my husband too because to know he thinks I look sexy in what every I bought helps me feel even more sexy.0

I only buy fairly inexpensive lingerie, because it often does get ripped apart after a time or two of wearing it. I buy every piece with the idea that it will be. But he does like it to be a slow and agonizing process for me. (I am the impatient one) but sometimes, he will pick out my outfit for the night based on how destructive he intends to be.0 -
Seeing the effort - noting EVERY curve and shape - knowing what is to come...
HUGE turn on!
And to those that have said it gets in the way... chew it off!0 -
Some men like to leave it on during everything and the challenge of it "being in the way" can provide a different kind of experience altogether...0
-
I'm not a guy but my husband loves it. I like the gift-wrapping analogy from another poster. Lingerie is just a nice way to decorate what you already have.0

I've dated guys that just loved lingerie and in certain colors. Every guy is different, I've also dated the guys that were more turned on by a sexy pair of high heels. A woman simply has to feel comfortable with what she's wearing, a guy will find that more appealing.0

This plus it's a big turn on when the gift is not fully unwrapped. And for the question of "being in the way" I think it just adds to the adventure.0 -
I enjoy it. It's a nice visual to lead up to the best part :-)0
-
I feel sexiest when I'm all dolled up and in lingerie. Heels, stockings, garter belt..
I like to tease and then let him undress me. It's a big build-up to the act.0 -
I enjoy unwrappping my presents like it's Christmas but I prefer to use my teeth0

All this talk about lingerie just got me turned on. And I'm still at work for 6 more hours. This sucks. Might as get some ice cold drink and hose this down.0

My hubby likes it on the rare occassion I wear it. I'm making the first move and it takes the question out of if I'm in the mood or not. LOL0

Every guy is different. Personally, I feel that variety is the spice of life. Sometimes, the whole "candlelight, wine, chocolates and lingerie" thing is the way to go, other times it's "let's rip off what we're wearing and get at it".
Which reminds me, ladies, I'm still available for Valentine's Day this year. Just FYI. :flowerforyou:0 -
Lingerie is a big red sign that says SEX...NOW to guys. Having a clingy baby in the house, there's not much action happening. He doesn't always catch the hint when I throw it, and I don't really have the confidence to just jump him, so the lingerie gives him a clear sign of what's coming . It also hides the parts of me that I don't like so much, and I feel sexier!0

I love it. Its that eliminate of you can see but you can see that is the real turn on about it.0

I had all that stuff for the honeymoon. (almost 11 years ago) own nothing now. He doesn't seem to care. T shirt and lace undies is all that's in the drawer now. I tried to bring myself to buying something today and the stuff just isn't flattering for all body types.
Trust me he does care. If you go out of your way to do it he knows that you want to feel sexy for him. Here's an example, let's say you purchase a used car (not calling you used...although past history does dictate n this situation. just sayin') and it's a really great car but the dealer you buy it from bother to shine that baby up. I mean sure it's still fast and has great curve but...Eh! :ohwell: I'll drive I guess:grumble:0 -
I absolutely love it!! No doubt about that. Any of you that think it gets in the way, it is a waste, etc well go on with your missionary position only point of view.0

Yes! It's a "huge turn on" for me all of the reasons already posted.
If you're a woman and you're questioning whether or not you should make the effort, I say YES, every time.
What makes the whole experience even better? ... If we go shopping together and I help you choose what you're gonna be wearing.0 -
My husband loves lingerie... but if I put it on, he likes me to leave it on throughout - partly because he just thinks it's sexy, partly because it covers up the parts of me he doesn't like very much
Just to comfort you, even though I don't have rolls, my hubby doesn't like my body shape. He prefers no curves at all and big boobs. I am an hourglass shape with lots of curves, I don't want him to lie to me ever so it doesn't bother me when he tells me this.
I know where he stands and he loves me very much and I him even though I don't like his big stomach and he knows that too. We have very few fights and a lot of respect each other. We have been married for 4 years now and we have promised our selves to each other for the rest of this life and the next two on several occasions...
Love is more than skin deep and I am thankful I have a wonderful sweetheart who loved me the same when I was 6 sizes bigger than I am now (when we got married), when I was almost 300 lbs (a year and a half ago) and then as small as I am now. Even if he doesn't like my curves he will always love me and adore me for who I am to him.
I wish you all the peace, happiness and joy in the world for you and you sweetheart!0 -
The helping me choose part is fun. We go in and he gets to pick, and then I get all ready for him later in what HE chose. I dont wear it to hide any parts of me, I feel like it kind of exaggerates some flaws. But I feel sexy in it knowing how much he likes it and seeing the look on his face when I just walk into the livingroom with some new outfit he hasnt seen, heels and some sexy DVD from our collection that I picked out for us to watch (for a few minutes and then have playing in the background.). It drives him wild and THAT makes it worth the effort. One time, early in our relationship, he said to me "I want to thank you for all of the work you put into making sure you look nice even though I am the only one who will see it. And for when we go out and everyone can see it and see that you are on MY arm and wish you were on theirs." After he said this, it made me feel really good about it, and I always feel better when I am put together, so it made me want to ALWAYS look my best for the both of us. Especially when I am in some new naughty nighties.0

It's not a must, but quality lingerie is definitely a turn on, it enhances the body contours and looks pretty and provocative simultaneously - a neat trick.
Tacky cheap lingerie though, and you may as well not bother, just cheapens the wearer.0 -
Forget the guys ... it should be a turn on for YOU! I wear sexy items under my clothes ... or nothing at all underneath when the circumstance warrants it ... because it makes ME feel sexy as hell. The fact that he likes it too is just a bonus in my book.0

To be frank sometimes one of my tee shirts, a thong(thong optional), or my dress shirts will work do the job!0

My ex boyfriend loved it! But he also had a thing for pjs as well lol.0

Yes!! Throw in a loosely knotted tie (that could come in handy later) and some spiked heels and the dress shirt becomes an instant hit!!0
