This may be a silly question (and pardon me if someone asked it; I didn't have time to scroll through all the pages!) but what is Rotel? I'm not sure I can get it in Canada....

For those that have asked, Rotel is a brand of tomatoes, usually containing green chili's. It comes in mild, medium and hot styles. You could just use canned, diced tomatoes and a seperate can of green chili's or just omit the spicy component all together! Once I made it without the Rotel and just used diced tomatoes and then I added Franks red hot for the spice.

    Re: Rotel!

also, "bump" just means that you want to have this thread show up in your "my topics" so you can reference it later! :)

This is great! It has no sodium and the dry ranch packets are loaded with that too. Thanks for sharing!
I don't normally buy dry ranch packets because they have MSG in them but you could use this recipe for homemade ranch seasonings and just add it to the crockpot instead.

I think it is diced tomatoes with green chili's in it...I am in Canada too and could not find anything like that so I used a regular can of diced tomatos with 1 tbsp of green chili's. (El Paso in the Taco Section)

I had a hard time finding the dry ranch packet too but I finally did, I found Club House.

Here is my Canadian recipe lol

    Creamy Crockpot Chicken Chili “TT”

Chicken - Boneless Skinless Breast 3 Breasts
Primo - Diced Plum Tomatoes, 1 can undrained
Great Value - Light Cream Cheese, 0.75 container (16 tbsp ea.) - Cut up into pieces
Unico - Black Beans - Canned, 1 can, drained & rinsed
Green Giant - Niblets- Canned Corn, 1 container (1 4/5 cups ea.)
    Old El Paso - Green Chilies, Chopped, 2 tbsp 10 2 0 0 120
Ranch Dressing Dry Mix, 1 Packet
    Tex Mex Spices 1 tbsp
    Ground Cumin, 1 tsp
    Onion powder, 1 tbsp
Water - Municipal, 1-2 cups - Original recipe did not call for water but I found mine too thick, I guess you can use another can of diced tomatoes but that would obviously change the calorie total

Lay chicken breast in bottom of crockpot
    Add remaining ingredients
    Stir
    Cook low 6-8 hours
Shred Chicken with 2 forks, stir well and serve

Mine made 8 cups and MFP recorded it as 230 cal a cup
