Gas is cheap; you're all spoiled.
You will being paying $5 per gallon, so just get ready.

And there is nothing to be done about it.
Suck it up, and just pay up.:drinker:

Don't YOU wish you owned an oil well?

It's been hovering 3.59 for the last month. It never goes below 3.00 though. Our area is consumed with state taxes! We as a nation and in other countries are too dependent on oil. What will happen when the day comes when its so high that it comes between eating or buying gas to go to work? Thats a diet that will work.lol. :noway:

Was running on fumes so I had no choice but stop at the nearest gas station...

    $4.11 per gallon.

I put 5 bucks in and drove my @ss to Costco.

    $3.34 per gallon.

It was a 10 minute drive but I was literally....ON FUMES.

I live in NY. About 30 miles outside of Manhattan hence when the prices are up...they're 'roidal in my area

I filled up with diesel a couple of days ago - 50 litres (13.2 US gallons) for £70 ($108). $8.26 for a US gallon. £1.389 per litre.

I'll have to fill up again before the end of the week - I live 54 miles from my work. Fuel prices suck!

Agreed. They should *increase* taxes on oil to encourage use of alternatives and reduce tax on other things (e.g. income).

I was moaning yesterday because I had to pay $3.17/gallon. I'll shut up about that now. Of course it was with Ethanol.

That's in Muskogee, OK - by the way.

How does £6.24 per gallon grab you - which is $9.80 at todays exchange rate...

We get ripped off in the UK, when I passed my driving test it was only £2.67 per gallon (15 years ago), so its now circa 134% more expensive...

Can we have your expensive gas prices please!

that's for a UK gallon. the US gallon is smaller.

    uk gallon = 4.546 litres
    us gallon = 3.785 litres

I thought everything was bigger in the USA?

Thanks, but I am aware of the differences in volume on either side of the pond, my calculation was like for like! (Quantity Surveyor 9 till 5 lol)

So, even if it got to $5 dollars per US gallon it would only be $1.32 per litre or 0.84p per litre (at todays exchange rate), so its still around 60% cheaper than the UK even if they reach $5 per US gallon...
