LOL Mine beeps very annoyingly, I bet I would start to feel bad and get self-conscious about it!

  • "Alright, honey, let's pick up the pace. I'm not hitting my target zone here."

It's been about three hours since she was "going to try it out."

    She's a lucky, lucky woman.

Definitely report back... and make him wear one too.

^^This! And then any discussion of 'who works harder' can end!!!! Proof is in the numbers!!
  • Maybe you can make it competitive? Who's heart rate goes up faster? who's working harder? Maybe my hubby will participate more if I get all competitive... hm....
  • That is one way to make a fun "sport" into a workout and find out the numbers.

Aaaaand this just officially became my favorite thread on MFP ever. From hump rate monitor to bedsport - just AWESOME.
  • Better make sure you're doing the most "work" so that you can get the best benefit out of your workout ;-)

That exactly what I was thinking. Doing an exercise multiple ways gives you the best bang for your buck! LMAO!

So I jokingly said to the spouse I should wear my HRM while doing "it" and he actually says I should LOL....

How weird would that be.....although it would be interesting to see the results.... :)

Did you catch the episode of the Doctors? Kissing for 1 hour burns 575 calories!

Okay, how would you even log this into the database...high aerobic workout???? So funny. My husband always said, "statistics say it is like running a marathon"

Been there done that. Got an "average" number for both GOT and GOB style positions. I used to log it as "Cardio Special 1" or "Cardio Special 2".
  • Sure, it burns calories. That's not the problem. It's the snacking afterward! (Domino's delivers, but that's another story....)

That's an idea.. the beep. A'right hon, not in target zone.. it's beeping. And when it beeps again, you say: Whew! Your turn!

This thread makes me laugh so hard. I know there was another post with the same question in the past. But yes, I am curious too.
  • bump, very interested in the results :D
