I'm mortified because I went from 206 lbs (my house scale) to 210lbs (in my gym scale), I'm not sure but for some reason my scale at home always shows way less lbs then the gym scale. Not sure but I'm spooked.0 -

Welcome noob! Do you weigh at different times of the day? You can gain a few pounds throughout the day so it's best to weigh at the same time, in the same conditions each time. I personally weigh first thing in the morning on my home scale after going to the restroom. Then it's consistent. Just my thoughts.

Great thread! I'd like to join.
I am not entirely sure that my calorie estimates are accurate. How do you guys estimate?
I've decided to take the lower-end of what MFP estimates. Let me know if you think I'm way off (I weigh ~ 250lbs.
