To all our American MFP friends...I hope you are taking note of the gas prices around the world right now. Your $3.50 per US gallon is nothing compared to prices outside the US. Stop complaining about the high price of this or that over there...it's certainly not as bad as you think..plus your taxes are low, wages relatively high...only thing is no health car..which partially explains s
Your low gas price and low taxes!!0 -
3.69 In Maryland right outside of DC. (sighs)0
-
$3.29 in Inman SC.0
-
$3.54 at Costco in Frederick, MD for this morning's fill-up.0
-
Btw...Canadians on here...our $1.20 per liter is approx $5 per us gallon....come on USA...stop complaining!!!0
-
£1.30 a Litre (on a good day) so £5.85 a gallon which for my American friends would be $9.16 a gallon!
I have a 45ltr tank = 10gallon (ish) of which I fill every 3-4 weeks... = £58 / $91 every 3-4 weeks >_<
*kitten*, that's insane!
They have the gallon conversion wrong for the US. 1 US gallon is 3.89 Litres, not 4.54.0 -
$8.84 per US gallon (approx after conversion) in Chichester, England.
1 US gallon = 3.78 liters
1 litre = £1.46
£1.46 x 3.78 = £5.63
5.6300 GBP = 8.8492 USD
To fill my car with petrol I spend about £75 and I fill it up once a month so...
75 GBP = 117.8850 USD
So I spend $117.8 a month on petrol.0 -
I am sorry but have you not heard of the US being in a recession or do you live under a rock?0

$3.65 in Orlando, FL
not complaing, back home it's $8.05/gallon - and YES, most of that is taxes... it also goes up whenever something happens in the Middle East. America is not special in that regard0 -
Just have to find ways to work around it. The wife and I have recently started carpooling since we have a small commute of about 30 minutes to work and work within 2 miles of eachother. My truck on average, when the gas was at $3.19 cost about $65-75 a week plus about $35-40 for the wifes car, depending on traffic. So now that we just take her car that get much better mileage we are about $45 a week total. Its an inconvenience because we have to rush to drop the boys off in the morning at different schools and rush to get back to pick them up in time. But for a $260-300 savings a month, its well worth it!
That amount of savings to me = more time at the lake during the summer!!! :smokin:0 -
3.65 in PA0
