I think skinny women with big "balls" on their chest look hot, I wouldn't do it, but I would motor boat the *kitten* out of those bad boys. Yay porn stars.

This is an odd topic for me at this point in my life. In highschool I got down to 105 lbs but even though I got a little too thin I grew to a 34DD. Held steady at the size while gaining weight up to 137, then got pregnant and grew to a 34-Ridiculous, breastfed and lost the weight, went back to a 34DD (not as perky but still filling everything out), gained 20 lbs up to 157, still a 34DD, got pregnant again, got EXTRA Ridiculous in the sizing while breastfeeding, started MFP at 165 lbs and a little bigger than a 34DD, lost 38 lbs and stopped breastfeeding, now for the first time in years I am not quite big enough to fill out a 34DD like I used to but not quite small enough to go down to a 34D, but OOOOOH the sagging. Ugh. They are just NOT what they used to be. Not at all. It's so, so sad. Not to mention one has always been a bit bigger than the other, which was made worse while breastfeeding (the bigger one also produced more milk, which made me look extra ridiculous at times if I wasn't careful about feeding patterns LOL). All my life while I loved my girls (for the most part), I was one of those 'oh I don't understand why girls get boob jobs, they should just be happy with what they have' people, but that was when *I* was happy with what I had. Now that I'm not so thrilled anymore, I get it. I'm terrified at the idea of plastic surgery but every now and then I contemplate having a little something done when I'm finished having children. Won't be done with that for years so for now I just have to try and make the best of what I've got. But now I get it. Not sure if I'll ever actually have the balls to get them done, but I understand why other women might do it. Somehow I think my husband wouldn't mind too much if I wanted to try and restore them to their former glory or something close to it. LOL

So I am curious, how much does the surgery usually cost? I would love to get mine done but I am pretty sure I could never afford it.

Never personally had an issue with my small natural chest. Wishing we could all be happy with ourselves is too much to ask so if it is something you REALLY want and you can afford, go for it.

I'm naturally big (28F) and find it REALLY annoying.. Clothes don't fit properly so you have to buy bigger sizes and look fatter as a result, they get in the way in sports, and are generally very annoying! I have heard many guys talk of 'too big', so don't think they are really attractive either- sometimes I think men like the idea of big boobs rather than the reality... Although that makes me extremely biased, it does mean that I would never advocate having a boob job- be pleased with what you have! (although I get the hypocrisy in this  )

I would LOVE to make mine smaller. Two cup sizes would be freaking ideal. I'm losing weight but they seem to be still ridiculously too big for me. I'm hoping this last 12 lbs or so comes off my hips and boobs :)

I'm probably going to offend a lot of people, but I have a right to express my opinion, and that is that I HATE boob jobs. HATE. THEM. :P

I'm very flat-chested, but I would NEVER EVER EVER get a boob job. Why?

#1 - I think they look really, really awful. No matter how "good" the job was done, I just think they look utterly ridiculous.
#2 - I want to love me for me, and my real body. Not some plastic, falsely shaped version of me.
#3 - There are many risks involved, some of which could endanger your ability to breastfeed children in the future (which I DEFINITELY want to do).

I wish more women could just love their own bodies and not think they need to have larger, or fake, boobs in order to be beautiful or happy with themselves.

    # NB- Yes, I understand there are many women who do reconstruction surgery after mastectomy. I have no problem with this, as I'm sure such a loss would be devastating. I'm talking about women who have perfectly healthy breasts and get these surgeries simply for vanities sake.

Nothing in the world irks me more than a super fit woman with boob implants. ESPECIALLY when they are trainers.

It's like hey, I'm a poster child for health and wellness, yet I put my body through unnecessary surgery just for my physical appearance.

I want a reduction/up lift after I hit goal weight but the hubby doesn't want me to get one. The last place I lose weight is my chest and I'm still a DDD - losing everywhere but there. Now that I'm no longer wearing tent shirts its really frustrating because if it fits in the torso the chest is too tight and its just trashy. I'm a mom in my 30's and its not a good look, LOL!

I have every intention of getting a reduction when I'm at the end of the weight loss journey. I've always been large breasted, even when I weighed 125. Now, I have back pain, neck pain and permanent indents in my shoulders from bra straps. I love yoga, but hate it when my own chest suffocates me. I would have it done tomorrow but if I lose weight first, insurance is more likely to pay for it. I'm nearly 41, so breast feeding isn't a concern and quite frankly, mine have never been that sensitive anyway so losing sensation - not such a big deal. Being able to sleep on my back again? Priceless.

I took pictures of mine when I was 18, front and both sides. I am planning on getting them done back to that state when I get done with baby-making. I don't want them bigger, I just want them a few inches up from where they will be when I am done producing offspring and breastfeeding.

Titties, be them natural or not, black or white, big or small, are ****ing great. The end.
  • You're right about women with smaller breasts being more sensitive to touch. It is one of the benefits of small breasts. But I gotta say I really want to get them done. The only thing I'm worried about is losing sensitivity. It really is the only upside but otherwise the look of small breasts is pretty daunting when you are the smallest in your group of friends AND the fattest.

Wow at the amount of men 'putting in their two cents' about how they don't like women with breast implants. You mean there's men out there who DON'T like them -oh my god!!!! I am shocked! - Pure sarcasm btw.

For most women, what some random men think (as of course with everything, there are different opinions and preferences - what a surprise >.<) weighs in very little as to whether or not they want breast surgery. Most women do it for themselves - not for random men. And it isn't always about upping a few sizes. Babies and time can dramatically change breasts for the worse, and can bring down a person's self confidence, just like weight can or scars or the like. Jog on fellas.

I'm either a D or DD (I honestly don't know because I haven't been properly fitted in years) and they're uber saggy (always have been since I was a teenager and they were Cs). I figure I've already had my two kids and don't want anymore so once I reach my goal weight, I'd really like to get a lift since I'm sure they'll be smaller and I already plan on potentially getting skin removal surgery as well since I'll most likely have too much of it just hanging around. I feel that perkier breasts (even of a smaller size) would fit much better in with my fantasy body image.

Anywhere from $4000-$8000 and can go to about $10,000. It all depends on the surgeon, area (city, state, country), and type of procedure.

I already calculated mine and it'll be about $5000. Very reachable for me since I get $6000 in school refunds every semester

You can work your chest muscles, but it'll do nothing for the size/shape of your breasts. I'm planning on getting one done when I reach my goal. The risks do scare me, but I know so many women that have had it done for years and so far no problems.

Exactly this. Could have written/typed it myself. :)
