Unnatural hair colors

I'm a natural ginger myself, and I haven't ever messed with the color because I feel it's unique enough as it is, but if I could get away with doing any hairstyle, I would totally pick Megan's from NY Ink. Every time I see her on the show, a bit of me wishes I could be a punk and not have people laugh at me.

My hair has been every colour under the sun, but I liked this best:

Currently have faded raspberry streaks, but I can't get them to show in any pictures.
Here's the same color a few years ago.
Also sometimes color the streaks purple and bright red. Tried turquoise but it didn't take at all.0 -
I've been dying my hair since I was 12 and have never dyed it a natural color.0 -
me about 4 years ago when i was at uni still, before i joined the corporate rate race

i went "foxtail" a while back.
I had red hair (not bright red, nice dark, chestnutty red), and the tips were bright bleached white, so it looked like the tail of a fox when it was tied up.
I also had Dark brown hair, with two thick blonde stripes on the bottom, so when it was tied up you could see them. My bangs were bright blonde too. i like things different but not so totally crazy that i cant get away with it at work0 -

got a lot of comments, many negative, especially from my conservative family.
I have also had a blue peekaboo but since I didn't bleach my hair before that it wasn't really visible.0 -

I LOVE the blonde/pink hair!!0 -
Technically, my hair was never DYED, but I had falsies in that were both black and sorta flamingo pink. Dye doesn't take very well to my naturally dark hair and I've been a bit skeptical about bleaching it in order to have a proper fluorescent color hold.
Buuut once I am out of the watchful eye of my '***** about everything' parents and my hair locks into dreads, I want to bleach and dye maybe a few of them pink.. or maybe blue.. depending on how I feel in the future.0 -
Love my purple I get some "looks" at times, especially while out with my two year old and four year old daughters, but they love mommy's hair. And it's fun to go out at as a family, my husband is rocking a corporate mohawk these days.

I had fire engine red (think Kat from Victorious) about 5 years ago. I loved it, but it washed out quickly and I was way too lazy to maintain it. I've never done any really far out colors.0

I had mine a bright pink for about 5 years, but I went to blonde.
This is it about two years ago.

I love the exotic tropical bird look on young people. Hair like exotic plumage!0

I currently have purple (that will fade to hot pink) and dark brown hair.
I've been every single natural color and so far with the unnatural I've had hot pink, cherry red, purple, light pink (that glowed under black light) and blue. So far the purple that fades into hot pink is my fave. The color will last forever.0 -

>:( boo family. that looks ADORABLE. it's tonks hair! love it - and all the other photos on this thread!
i had blue highlights in high school, but that was the last time i cared about putting the time in to maintain. my hair's naturally very dark (i'm asian) so i had to bleach the streaks, and yeah... too low-maintenance to have kept up the bleach/touch-up process. but i loved how it looked. i might try a burgundy/purplish color but that'd fall on the natural-ish side i reckon, since it won't be very visible against the natural hair color.0 -
I have had a purpleish color:
I have had a red: (granted this picture is forever old and part had to be cropped out...)
I have also had orange mixed in my hair:
And all blue
I wish I had better pictures but these are the only ones I could fine being they were all about 4 years ago.. I have also had all of my hair orange, green, yellow, and pink high lights as well.0 -
never died my hair a crazy color, but I have a couple of long thick wigs. One is bright blue and the other is bright pink, I love them both!!0
