When someone tries this, please post your review: I'm intrigued (since I'm a big fan of vinegar), but concerned it will end up being something only I will eat, and only because I hate waste.

Do these turn out crunchy, or mealy?
DO they mimic the salt & vinegar flavor so many of us love?
Are they really a snack food, or more of a snack-food flavored side dish?

I've roasted them in just oil & spices before, and they turned out pretty crunchy. I'd compare it to eating pretzels or popcorn..that kinda snack.

I would imagine these would turn out the same, assuming you give them enough time to dry out in the oven.

I added the flag, so no other vessels try and come steal my salty snack.

I'm definitely going to need to try these. I introduced my Women's Studies class to chickpeas via hummus two weeks ago and have been craving them ever since.

some of them were crunchy and some a bit chewier, if you want them more crunchy then leave them in longer (just be careful not to let them burn)

I consider them more of a snack then a side dish. you can keep them in the fridge and they last a couple days.
