March Daily Step Challenge

Challenge is to do 10,000 steps in a day. You can do this for any one day or try for the entire month. Jump right in at any time! You can set a lower or higher goal if you wish. Our main goal is to keep activate every day!

I'm in again but not till march 6th because I didn't bring my pedo on vn.0

I'm going to try to do this too - but not until the weekend because I misplaced my pedometer, so I need to track it down (no pun intended) :laugh: I really want to see ball park how many steps i take in a tyical day so that I can see how many I need to increase by.0

I'm going to try this step challenge. I have no clue how many steps I take a day? Should be very interesting to see the number at the end of the day. I was prepared and already have my step counter on for the day0

Yes, I will definitely continue with the step challenge. I had some days below 10k last month, but also had enough days over to see an average of 10,000. I'm very happy with that.0

I'm in! I usually get about 5000-8000 in a day, but I always aim for 10000. I only reach that on days I go walking.0

I have a New Balance Via Slim that was about $30. It is small and it works great.0 -
The first few weeks that I counted my steps I was in the 2000 to 5000 step range. I guess I have really changed my walking patterns to add steps becuse my lowest daily count last month was 6,364.0

3/1 - 17,023 This is not a typical day because I did a lot of cardio workouts instead of my lifting. It will help make up for my days that I fall short. Looks like everyone is off to a good start!0

I was so exhasuted when I took it off I did not even check the number of steps. When I picked it up this morning I relaized just a few more would have put me over 12,000. Still a great day!

I'm joining you all for the first time. I just got my pedometer today, so I will start today. Since I do aerobics as my primary exercise, I am only going to set up my steps for the 3500 range per day to start with, for a total of 100000 for this month. I will post my steps for each week on Sundays, starting with tomorrow. I will reset my goal before the end of the month if I surpass it.
