I have lost a cup size, but I was up at an F, so I'm totally okay with that. It makes sense that you lost a band size since you are losing weight and the size around your ribcage is probably shrinking. From what I've seen on here, some people shrink, others don't. It all depends on your body!

yeah my ribcage area has definitely shrunk! just find it odd how my actual boobs havent...im amazed by the simplest things :)

i have lost both, cup and band. I got rid of my extender which I was thrilled with, but now I need to go down a cup size, and I really couldn't afford to lose anything there. How depressing.....

I want to say the last time i lost weight -it was about 30-40 pounds i lost in the chest last and only like half a cup size - i put some of it back on and i think it almost all went back to my chest but before i went from a 40dd full to a 38d-dd depending on where i bought the bras and the ones i liked came from VS which i think is sized smaller then other brands

I have lost a band size so far....thankfully as that is what I wanted to lose so my wedding dress wouldn't be too tight in that area.

I have lost 54 and oddly enough my bras still fit, I really need to go down a band size and I may have lost half a cup.

I've lost both in the rib area and also the cup. I was a "d": coming out of it and now a "d" actually fits, and I am down about two inches in the rib area. So, I guess it all depends on the person from what I have read here, it seems we are all experiencing the weight loss differently.

Yes and I hate it because I loved the size of boobs. 46DDD to 44DDD
  • I've wondered about this as well...if they're going to change much. Glad someone else asked! LOL:smile:
  • My boobs are my reason for wanting to lose weight. The weight I've gained over the past few years went straight to my boobs and I absolutely hate it.

That is the first place I loose. Went from 40 to 38" around ribcage in 2 months. That is the only place I don't want to loose....

Yes I did but it took a little while. I didn't start losing boobage until after I had lost about 30lbs or so.

At least in my case, I lose first in the last place I gain (upper body) and lose last in the place I gain first (ever inch of my body between the waist and knees).

    Why are they ruined?

My boobs were in between a B and C cup wise before (even at the smallest I can remember they were always 36C). Then, I lost weight and now am a 32-34B

I really miss my old boobs! I'm still 15lbs heavier than I was in high school, but now have smaller boobs :(

So far, I've lost a band size and it's looking like I'll be changing cup sizes in the near future (which is kind of depressing, I like wearing a D)

    32DD to 32D

I've only lost ~5 pounds, but that translated to about an inch around my chest measurement. I'm not sure if I've actually gone down a cup size or not (I don't have a smaller bra to try here at school), but one or two of my previously perfect 34Ds definitely feel a bit roomy!

(This is NOT how I imagined losing weight would go...)

I went from 38D to band size of 35, and down to a C cup. Finding new bras for me has been a nightmare.

This is about my size now, I am looking forward to shrinking a bit, when I sleep on my back my boobs are trying to smother me!

When you go down in band size the cup is always smaller even if it's still a B or C or whatever. Look at a 34C & a 40C....you will see what I mean. So you probably have lost a little in your cup size too. I have lost in both. I'm still wearing my same bras after 40 pounds lost, but I was kinda spilling out of it before. I'm thinking another 15 pounds and I'll be going down a band size.

Yeah I lost in the cup size. They get ruined because your skin that was stretched never goes back to being firm after losing weight, so you end up with stretch marks and less perkiness. I still think it's worth the trade off of having an overall body shape I'm happier with, and being able to wear the clothes I want, but yeah the permanent damage to my skin (not just in the boobs) is a bit depressing and makes me really regret ever letting myself get so heavy in the first place.

It depends on your genetics. Some women tend to lose boobs first (and gain them last when the weight goes on). Other women stay larger longer, that's one of the last places for the weight to leave. Sadly, it seems that the ones who want to lose don't and those who want to keep it lose it (that's my family! My grandma and mom always complain about how hard it is to get the girls smaller, where I would love to keep mine the size they are while losing weight elsewhere, but alas it isn't so ... I got the genes from the women on my dad's side:angry::laugh: )

However, as you continue to lose, some will gradually come off there. When you get to your goal, you can assess where you are. If you are overly large, there are reduction surgeries available.

Yes I sure have. I had a 34D and somehow managed to get all the way down to a 34A.
