You look GREAT! Nice work!!
Looks like we are one of the same - that is when I saw the best results. Lower carb, high protein, 4 days/week strength & HIIT, 1 day endurance cardio.
You hard work shows. Great job.0 -
Your abs look incredible!0

WOAH after only one month! Fantastic! you look so strong. and those ABS!
I'm trying to incorporate much more strength now, since I only have between 5-10 to lose.
Can you explain what your typical workout consists of?
Thanks dear!! My typical workout would be 5 min of running for a warm up and then lifting either upper body or legs. I alternate days. I do core daily though. After my circuit training then I finish up with about 10-15 min of HIIT on the treadmill or elliptical.0 -
You're my inspiration!! awesome results!!0

WOW! Do you have a trainer? What kind of strength training do you do?0

Wow!!! You are making me want to strength train!!! Your results are impressive, and your before pic looks a LOT like my body right now. It's amazing to think what I could look like in a month if I follow your plan! What type of plan did you use?0

Nope, no trainer. My husband knows a ton about lifting and has helped me out in the past. I just lift using the machines alternating legs and upper body on different days, core is a daily though!0 -
Your results are truly inspiring, thanks for sharing! :flowerforyou:0

I am so impressed & inspired!!
About how long each day (time wise) were you lifting? I just joined Gold's Gym and I'm trying to step away from the cardio and hit the Circuit Machines, but it's hard to do, even though I know I need to. I'm thinking about doing the machines 2 of the days that I go and mostly cardio on the other 2 days, but I don't know if that would be more beneficial than 20 minutes cardio and 20 minutes weights. (I go on my lunch break so I only have about 45 minutes total to workout).
I would love your opinion.0 -
Awesome!
I wish I would've done this back when I was 26. I dieted instead of lifting and that was my downfall. I could've saved myself decades of struggling.
I'm so happy for you that you figured this out at your age.
(I'm 51 so forgive me for saying "at your age" :flowerforyou:  )0 -

Thank you!! I go to golds also lol I'd concentrate more on lifting then cardio, you burn more calories!! but I do think cardio is important for overall health.0 -
