Sexual orientation

Def false. I'm straight, always have been, always will be. Happily married. To each his own.....:)0

Why does it matter?0

haha it's true, girls don't admit it. They "THINK" it's something else. Sometimes if you ask a girl if she's bi she'd tell you no, but then a week later she tells you she had a girlfriend.
Ask a girl this, "if you where watching an adult film, would you rather watch guy on guy action, or girl on girl action." This was done in a study. No one liked the guy on guy action, everyone liked the girl on girl action. This was tested with both sexes.
Sexuality is more on a spectrum. Guys are either very straight or very gay, not really in between. Girls fall in to the between category.
I'd rather watch guy on guy than girl on girl (but prefer guy and girl). So that's interesting. I think some of those people were lying.
Anyway, just because I know when another woman is attractive doesn't mean I want to get naked with one. I'm flat out not sexually attracted to women, much to the despair of my lesbian college chum.0 -
OK, just made it through the first page, but NO!!!! I am Bi... my best friend in the world is NOT AT ALL interested in even experimentation. Definitely false! It takes all kinds in this world, and anyone who wants to throw people into categories is just being lazy.0

I don't believe that's true, but I think a lot more girls experiment that boys, and girls can appreciate if another girls beautiful. Donesnt mean they want to jump her though! X

I fall in love with the person, not with what's between their legs. Call me what you will.
Seconded. I have female friends that are repulsed by the idea of being with a woman, if I fall in love with one so be it. Sexuality is fluid, I don't believe there are only 2 solid blocks of orientation, more like shades of grey.
Absolutely!!0 -
I think women are far more comfortable with intimacy generally speaking so sometimes it "seems" like women are attracted to one another sexually when in fact they are not. I think women have a much more complex set of sensual and sexual values then men do. I think women can flirt with one another and not be the least bit aroused, whereas men simply are too neanderthal to do so generally.0

It totally makes sense, my husband and I have introduced women into our bed and we love it. I have been straight all my life and prefer a man over a woman to share my life with. But I would definitely sex a woman down in a heart beat.0

Women are way less homophobic then men.
You know you ladies are a few drinks and a camera crew away from making out with your bestie - LOL (running from thread)....0 -
proud homo here! and your brother is a ****ing dumb *kitten*0

I think women are capable of seeing another woman as hot without having the desire to bang her, and most men don't get it because they aren't capable of that.0

I thought this thread was about an introductory sex ed class. WTF.0

Did I experiment in college. Yes, perhaps once or three times since. However other than a kiss or grope here or there I like me manmeat. The only ***** in the relationship should be me.0

No. I'm straight as an arrow. I think men would LIKE to think all women are like this. It's simply not the case.
I would also argue that if you say "Oh, I'm straight but I am attracted to some women" then you are not actually 100% heterosexual. Sexual orientation is a spectrum like a lot of human characteristics, I think. Some people are 100% gay, some 100% straight and some fall along the line at different points. But I don't think women who want to have sex with other women are straight. I would also argue that men would never admit to feeling any attraction to another man if they consider themselves hetero. It's not as...uh...fashionable? I don't know.0 -
this post is ridiculous really.. and has nothing to do with my fitness pal and what its about.. JUST SAYIN!0

Ever heard of Kinsey? He did a study in the 50s? 60s? Cant remember. Anyways, in his work he rated human sexuality from a 0 to a 6. Zero being straight, 6 being completely homosexual. In his studies, he stated he never met a zero, or a six. And that was then.
Biologically, women are hard wired differently than men. I learned in biology, that women can get aroused at any suggestion of sex. They proved this by showing a woman a series of snapshots and hooking her up to machines that measured visceral responses. When shown images of beastiality, homosexual or heterosexual sex, women responded to the stimulous in a positive reading. This doesn't mean they enjoyed it. It means that biologically they responded to it. -- to clarify.
Where as males, did not. If it wasn't something they enjoyed emotionally, it was negative response.
It was one of the first experiments in sexuality that described how women and men physiologically are different.
Having these examples, I would have to say yes. But, this doesn't mean that there is "possibility" as the line would suggest. It merely means that as a warm blooded creature, the capacity is there.
Just for future reference, Kinsey was a nut job who had a lot, and I mean a LOT of wrong-headed ideas about sex. Especially women and sex. And he knew way too much about children and orgasms for me to think he was not doing something very illegal and wrong in his "studies."0 -

This all happened after the popularity of Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl," and the mass consumption of
porn showcasing "lesbians" and Girls Gone Wild.
It suddenly became cool in our culture for girls to kiss girls. That however doesn't mean you're bi.
If you are bi, that means you are attracted to men and women. I kiss my cat goodnight, doesn't mean I'm attracted to him.
People get drunk, horny, curious etc and do 'crazy' things.
I identify as bisexual, but to be honest, labels don't matter. I honestly would like to say I am attracted to men and women equally, but it's easier and shorter to just say I'm bi. Sexual orientation is something very personal, and no one really has the right to make one singular definition for something that has such a broad spectrum.0
