I love to bake, and haven't done anything really since V-Day to try to resist temptation, but now I'm going to try this recipe next time I go to a party, thank you!0

I think I am more skeptical re: splenda than the chick peas, and would probably substitute something like applesauce or maple sugar...or even unrefined natural sugar. Thanks for sharing the recipe0

i made these about two weeks ago and i agree- they were really good. my 5-year-old wolfed down two and didn't suspect they were not "normal chocolate chip cookies." If you are looking for a breakfast cookie, these are awesome. i make double batches and freeze them and then just microwave one in the morning for 20 seconds. yum. http://www.momables.com/oatmeal-breakfast-cookie/0

Made the deep dish cookie from the site (same idea), and subbed peanut butter for the oil, because a few people complained of a "beanie" taste. I also added a healthy dose of vanilla extract.
Delicious. Peanut butter chocolate chip cookie? HUGE serving 160 calories. Heck yeah! As a bonus, rather than just satisfying a craving, they satisfy a craving AND are a real snack to satisfy hunger.
My skeptical husband loved them too.0 -
Bump for later when I'm not on a kindle!0

I have started using white beans instead of chickpeas - less of an after taste0

Thanks for posting this - I love the idea of a PB-Choc Chip deep dish cookie pie. Did u replace the sugar for anything or just use the rest of the recipe as is?0 -
