I started in May of 2011 and to date I have lost 65 pounds. I lost the first 50 pounds quickly (averaging about 1.5 pounds a week) and then the last couple of months I have had slow to little progress but I just changed from mostly cardio to mostly strength traning and upped my calories so I think the scale is finally moving again. Good Luck :)

^^ My new hero! Role Model!!!

Lol, Actually if I could do it again, I would have slowed down a bit. I about killed myself every day burning atleast 1000 calories from cardio 6 days a week. It was worth it in the end. Thankfully I have kept it off. and learned better eating habbits.

Before joining MFP, I'd lost about 20lbs with WW from March 2010 - May 2011. Before that, in 2007, I lost 40 lbs on Atkins in about 5 months time (not recommended.) So a total of 60 lbs lost before MFP.

In between those times, I either paid zero attention to what I was eating or ate way too little. So now I'm on MFP trying to repair all that damage to my metabolism. Eating a (mostly) whole foods diets, tracking calorie intake and being active is my goal. Hopefully by doing those things, I will lose these last 45 lbs.

I have lost 24 pounds since the middle of December...14 of those since I joined MFP. I am steadily losing a pound a week now, which for me is wonderful progress.

38.5 lbs in a year. The first 32 or so came off in the first 6 months of trying. (SW 164; CW 125.5; I'm 5'5")

Before MFP, it took me 3 1/2 years to lose 80lbs. Since I've joined MFP on January 2, 2012 I've lost 24 lbs. and it's staying off even when I fall off the bandwagon sometimes. :)

    I've lost 57 lbs since January 2011. It's been 15 months. I went from a size 15/16 to a size 7/8. Body fat 37% down to 23%.
I wanted to get down to 130 lbs but I know that my body composition has changed and so has my goal. I'm aiming for a body fat % of 16% and fitting into a size 4 or 6? Heck at 158 and a size 7/8 is truly amazing considering I was 160 lbs in high school wearing size 15/16!

Unhealthy way a few years back: 65 pounds in 3 months (eating once a day, working out all the time, sleeping a lot over the summer)

Healthy way this time: 20 pounds in about 2 1/2 months... slow process, but it's a marathon not a sprint

Gotta keep reminding myself of that fact!
