    I want to join this group too!. However my goal is to lose 10 lbs. this months. I had knee surgery March 2, 2012 and doctors want me to lose weight. Carrying this weight around causes lot of leg and knee pain. I have to lose the weight, I have no chose. I don't want to end up in a wheel chair someday. I have to do this for myself. I hope coming here can help keep me on track. I went back on this weight lost program again, April 2, 2012 and so far so good. I have lost 3 lbs. since Monday morning. Ya! I am so happy! I love breads and sugar and when I eat them, my body gets all these cravings. So I have cut out all bread and sugars from my diet for now, until I can get some of this weight off. Please pray that I don't slip back into my old habits.

    I don't understand, how come I didn't lose ANYTHING?? Usually my weight fluctuates between 189 and 186 in the morning and night... I must have gained it all back and now I seriously am trying to lose it again?? I'm losing more than 5 pounds this month, that's for sure. I want to be 180! This weeks goal? To drink more water every day. Also, I am NOT eating anything that has sugar unless its the cereal in the morning.

    I upped my calories from 1400 to 1700 2 weeks ago. I initially lost 3lbs after upping them but now I've gained 1lb back. It's so discouraging :(

    I wouldn't be discouraged sweetie, just think, it could be worse. Keep going, when I get discouraged I usually feel like giving up but keep in mind that giving up is what got us where we are, so don't do it!! Keep going, I know you'll succeed. Maybe challenge yourself not to get on the scale as much, maybe only once every 2 weeks? That way you're not stalking the scale and getting discouraged. :smile:

    Thanks for the support! There's no way I'm giving up! I might even consider throwing my scale out lol
