The first electric chair was invented by a dentist Dr. Alfred P. Southwick

I guess this explains why so many of us are scared of the dentist.

Not true. There are less people born on Feb 29th than any other day.

But you're talking about a precise day of the year. What the other person was saying is that fewer people are born on the 31st day of the month -- any month -- than on any other day of the month. And that's because only seven of the 12 months have a 31st day.

The winner for the 1939 Best Song Academy award was "Over The Rainbow". Judy Garland got snubbed with a "Best Juvenile Actress" award for "The Wizard of Oz", even though Mickey Rooney was nominated for a Best Actor in another movie, and they were the same age.

    All calico cats are female...

Brown/Black pattern occurs because the gene for hair color is on the X chromosome. Females get two X chromosomes, Males get one X and 1 Y chromosome. Because only one copy of the X chromosome is necessary (and two active copies are harmful), one x chromosome in each cell is permanently inactivated during fetal development. It is completely random which copy is inactivated - hence the random pattern of brown and black fur on a calico cat.

Another random fact: If you clone a calico, the clone's color pattern will be different from the original!

The white fur in a calico is not limited from females and is the result of a separate process.

The giving of Easter eggs goes back to a tradition older than Easter itself. Eggs were exchanged and given as a symbol of rebirth.
