BMR 1499
Eating at maintence cals (-300 or so) 2070 every day, workout or not!
Losing more than 1lb/wk after upping my cals.
Yeah food!
edit for spelling0 -
MFP put my daily goal as 1500.
I have recalculated using the Katch-McArdle formula as it accounts for lean body mass.
As of Monday
BMR =1672
TDEE = 2304
then i will have a 25% reduction on my low days and 10% reduction on my high days so
Low = 1728cals
High = 2073 cals0 -
BMR: 2100ish, depending on the formula I use.
Goal: 2450 plus exercise monitored by a Polar FT7.I really hope a lot of the people posting in this thread have BMR and TDEE mixed up... otherwise a lot of people are eating way less than they should be for best health.0 -
BMR--1842 kcal
TDEE--2763 kcal + Exercise Calories
Goal Set at 2763, but I eat between 2211 and 2763 on days I don't exercise. After adding exercise calories, I multiply by 80% to get my minimum Calorie intake.0 -
BMR: 1900 cal
Daily goal: 1300 cal
I am alwaysunder my goal.
I hope you can take steps to correct this starting today.0 -
Between 2300-2500/day NET0

bmr-1,219
i dont usually have a 'goal' but i am for 800-1000. high days are around 1200.0 -
BMR-1491
TDEE- 2040
Daily goal-1790
Also I eat some, if not all, of my exercise calories.0 -
BMR - 1350 (why is it so low? Guessing it is due to my lower weight and age of 36)
TDEE - 1650 without exercise according to this site.
Daily goal - around 2400 with my usual cycling. 1600 without as am trying to maintain.
Not dared try it without exercise yet.0 -
MFP gave me numbers that were too low.. My BMR is up around 3500 somewhere, MFP had me at 1700. I'm slowly adding calories back. I'm up to 2000 but I need to be at around 2200-2400.0
-
TDEE: 2394
Daily Goal: Intake at least 2000, I burn 1000 a day, 2,000 + on long run training days, so my net is typically 1200-1400 goal. It is tough to eat that much back in a day especially all healthy!0 -
BMR = 1,662 cal
Daily Goal = 1,280 cal0 -
More important is knowing your resting metabolic rate.0

More important is knowing your resting metabolic rate.
which I do know, but when you are training for a marathon and burning through 7.000 calories a week and not intending to lose weight anymore, merely maintain and build muscle strength, the resting rate is really not what should be the guideline. Everyone is different though, which I think is the point to this thread :-)0 -
BMR: 1,896.4
Daily Goal: 1,2800 -
wow most have very low cals intake,
mines 19000 -
BMR: 1,691
Daily Goal: 1220-1300
MFP gives me around 2,000 extra calories a day for exercise, but I don't eat them back.0 -
bmr 1739
daily goal 1860,it was 1960,but mfp adjusted it once i lost 5kg0 -
BMR : ~1800
TDEE: ~2400 (according to an HRM i wore for 24 hours on a day i barely did anything)
my daily calorie goal is 1850
i have quite a bit of muscle mass and work out with heavy weights. i tried going by MFPs calculations which had me eating 1200 calories but it was affecting my strength training and HIIT workouts. i couldnt have that because pushing through those suckers is what makes my exercise enjoyable :laugh:0
