    1260 is what mfp set. On my workout days I eat about 1400.

    ...am I the only one who's BMR is more than the amount of calories my fitness pal lets you eat?! I just figured this out, I'm still loosing weight, but the difference in numbers seems strange.

    i set my own goal at 1350....and that seems to be working for me and eating back half of my exercise calories which is usually between 300 and 500 a day..depending on the day....

    BMR is somewhere around 1450. My daily calorie goal is about 1800, but 2100 on workout days.


    I really hope a lot of the people posting in this thread have BMR and TDEE mixed up... otherwise a lot of people are eating way less than they should be for best health. :/

    me too! We must have similar body types because I have also been loosing more than 1lb/week with a calorie goal of 1740 and I HATE when is goes down! Happy weight loss to you!

    MFP set me at 1200 as a daily goal. My exercise calories bump me up to around 1650-1700 per day, most days. I eat my exercise calories and it places me where I am supposed to be!

    1800 is my goal give or take and I eat every last cal :)
    I forget what the calculator alloted me but it didnt feel like enough...so I adjusted based on how my body was feeling (and eating good/filling foods)

    MFP put my daily goal as 1500.

    I have recalculated using the Katch-McArdle formula as it accounts for lean body mass.

    As of Monday

    BMR =1672
    TDEE = 2304
    then i will have a 25% reduction on my low days and 10% reduction on my high days so

    Low = 1728cals
    High = 2073 cals

    BMR: 2100ish, depending on the formula I use.
    Goal: 2450 plus exercise monitored by a Polar FT7.

    TDEE--2763 kcal + Exercise Calories

    Goal Set at 2763, but I eat between 2211 and 2763 on days I don't exercise. After adding exercise calories, I multiply by 80% to get my minimum Calorie intake.

    BMR - 1350 (why is it so low? Guessing it is due to my lower weight and age of 36)
    TDEE - 1650 without exercise according to this site.
    Daily goal - around 2400 with my usual cycling. 1600 without as am trying to maintain.
    Not dared try it without exercise yet.
