Walking 6-7 days a week, I am preparing for a marathon walk in June, I've lost 15lbs so far. I walk a lot on my lunch break at work and long walks on weekends. Fresh fruits and veggies and cut back on sweets. I don't believe in depriving myself, I let myself have something, but less of it.0

1. Take care of your body. Intense work outs are important to challenge your limits but overtraining, training on injuries or under-fueling will lead to poor work outs and poor results. Rest, foam roller, massage ball, ice. Not over-rated. Under-appreciated.
2. Be prepared. Pack snacks, extra snacks. Make food for a couple days at a time. Get a good cooler for work/school/the road.
3. Keep it in perspective! Weight loss/healthy lifestyle is not a chore it's a gift. Everyone else may not understand but it's only your attitude that matters. :laugh:0 -
