but if you are only talking about dairy ... whole milk is definitely better.... all the nutritional value is taken out of reduced fat milks... the vitamins in those can't even be absorbed by your body.
Just one source.... but there should be others to support this.

I have switched to whole milk and whole milk products this week - after reading up on it from reading about it on another post.
Also I use unsweetened soya milk & occasionally coconut milk.0 -

Fat free skimmed milk for me , i have been drinking it for years now and the full fat is just horrible if i ever have to have it my drinks .0

Lucerne or Dairyland Skim Milk. Dad always kept it in the house, so I started drinking it when I was sixteen. I just like the taste better.0

Semi skimmed milk - it has just the right balance of flavour between whole and skimmed.0

Fat doesn't bother me, so I drink either Whole Milk or Vanilla flavored Almond milk. Which ever is on sale at the time.0

Skim/Fat Free....I would rather chew my calories than drink them. Only use milk mixed in things like steel cut oats.0

I found an unsweetened almond milk a few months ago and now it's all I drink! at 35 calories per cup, it works SO good in my protein shakes and cereal! It's a little thicker so I like the texture better than skim milk. Give it a try!0

Cow's milk makes me bloated and gassy...I prefer soy milk Tried fat free soy milk but it was so watery. Might go for original or vanilla (yum!)0
