    Any thoughts on reducing the salt content in this receipe? I think my family would love it, but we can't use high salt recipes.

    I have never though of cooking my tacos in a crock pot. It is a good idea so that way the taco stays warm for later. My only concern is that the tacos may get burnt around the edges as can happen with slow cooking. I would hate to have burnt tacos.

    But thank you for the recipe! i will definately make it for my friends!

    If you rub the taco sauce around the crispy, burnt edges of the taco, they are still fit for consumption.....

    Sour cream can help in this department too...just let it soak in

    Sour cream is ok...but guacamole I draw the line at....
