I put it on everything- salads, pasta, meat, etc. I just put some sweet onion jalapeno sauce on some split pea soup.

My daughter thinks it's disgusting, but I loooooove it.

Chicken soup, mangos, oranges, cucumbers, .... I usually add lemon, unless it's to lemons. Also pizza, deep fried chicken (with ketchup), ramen noodles... lots and lots of foods.

Pretty much everything! I love salsa, and was blessed with an awesome grandmother who shared her mad salsa making skills.

My husband puts salsa on spaghetti, which isn't that weird to me since I add crushed red pepper to whatever I don't put salsa on. LOL

I'm that person that has hot sauces from all over the world. Whenever people go places that's what I get as a souvenir.

If I can't get hot sauce, I put crushed red peppers on my food, too.

Nothing. I don't like hot sauce...but my bf, he puts that Louisiana Hot Sauce on EVERYTHING he eats. Tabasco sauce is a decent substitute since a lot of restaurants don't serve the Louisiana brand.

Salsa, on the other hand, I put on a lot of stuff, love some good chunky salsa!

    hard boiled eggs+chipotle tabasco=NOM
a nice big bowl of gaspacho also needs some tobaccy sauce to be perfect.

Other than that, I don't use it that much at all.

Bottled hot sauce is lame. With the exception of Cholula, they are all way too acidic.

Boil up some chiles (jalapeno, serrano, and/or habanero), tomato, onion and garlic. Toss it in a blender. Enjoy.

ETA: Cholula does have its place: On popcorn and in Mexican shrimp cocktail.

I like my cilantro more whole. More aromatics and flavor, doesn't get lost in the salsa.

I understand that sentiment. I don't boil the cilantro ; I throw it in the blender with the already-boiled tomatoes, onions, peppers, and garlic. That way, it holds its aroma and flavor.

With something chunky, like pico de gallo, I'll include the cilantro. For a liquified salsa, though, I don't.

My mouth waters just thinking about it.

I used to be big on soups before I discovered
sodium. I still eat the habanero sauce, on stuff
like white rice. 90mg of El Yucateco is better
    than 920 of soy sauce!

Oh, my soup used to look like this:
Now I make soups from scratch.
    Much better for you!

    Yes!

That looks insanely delicious. I usually add El Yucateco hot sauce, red pepper flakes, and diced jalapenos, serranos, habaneros, and Thai peppers to my soups -- it's rather explosive.

Thanks for making me extremely hungry, by the way.
