    If your old New Balance pedometer was smaller and more adaptable to your clothes, check the battery. I replaced the battery in my pedometer last week. Makes an old pedometer like new.

    I've joined for all of 2 days - so this is a total newbie question!
    How do you enter your pedometer steps into exercise?

    If you want to enter your steps, you can add an exercise to strength or cardiovascular. I added one in strength, but since I post here, I don't use it. I'm more accountable here than on my own. The MFP calorie budget accounts for your daily steps as part of normal metabolic rate based on the activity level you choose in the set-up. So, I don't count my daily steps as additional calories burned. This is how I maintain the activity level of moderately active.

    Tried replacing the battery but that did not help. I called New Balance and theough the were iniitially a pain about it they finally agreeed to send a replacement. It just arrived so I should be back to using it tomorrow.

    Goal 7000 steps a day since I am at a sedentary job most of the time.

    4/1 - 5949 I got most of that the night before when I was dancing. but it was after midnight. I had a restfull day.
    4/2 - ??? I forgot my fitbit at home today. but I did go walking at lunch. Generally do about 3500 steps at lunch.
    4/3 - 10343 woo hoo.. had to work at the ballpark..
    4/4 - 3568 forgot the fit bit at home. used my cell phone app.
